Reporting
Plastics are polymers like synthetic
fibres . The only difference between
the two is in the nature of monomer
units they are made of . for example
polythene bags , is a polymer of
monomer called ethane.
Some important character of plastics
are :
1. They are easily mouldable , i.e ,
they can be shaped in different
forms .
2. They can be melted , coloured ,
recycled , rushed , rolled into
sheets and drawn into wires .
Plastics are classified as
thermoplastic and thermosetting
plastic on the basic of their
reaction to heat . thermoplastic or
thermoplasts are the plastic which
melt or become soft on heating and
harden when cooled . they retain
their plasticity even after are
examples of thermoplastics . They
are used to make bags , toys , etc .
Thermosetting plastic or
thermosets on the other hand , are
the plastics which when moulded
once , cannot be softened on
heating . The two most popular
example of thermosets are backlite
and melamine . Backlite is an
insulator and is used to make
electrical switch and the handles
of various utensils . Melamine has
fire and heat resistant properties
and is used to make floor tiles ,
kitchen ware and fire resistant
fabrics .
Conclusion
After doing the survey in some
village we came to know that they
are throw and burning plastic .
plastics are very harmful to us
because when we throw it if a
animal eat plastic it may dead .
and if we are burning plastics it
produce many harmful gases .
plastics contains many harmful
things . that’s why plastic is a new
powerful enem of the environment.
My group members say that in our
future plan people use paper or
cloth bags which are not harmful
to us . so , this is the most
thinkable for the human of the
world .

I am very thankful to God
Almighty who gave the courage,
confidence and patience to
complete the project. I would like
to express my special thanks of
gratitude to my guide teachers
Mrs.Renu Ekka (TGT ) ,
Mr.S.K.Singh (PGT History) and
Mr. Dananjay Kumar ( PGT
Geography) who gave the golden
opportunity to do this wonderful
project on the topic of Plastic – a
new powerful enemy of the
environment . I came to know
about so many new things I am
really very much thankful to them.
