2. Objective of the Project

The main objective of the project on “Online Banking System” is:

a) To understand How bank manages the details of bank account, balance, customer
transactions through online banking system
b) To analyse the functions, advantages, limitations and importance of Online Banking
c) To examine How online banking system is better than manual work which is time
consuming
d) To understand the challenges faced by the Banks as well by the Customers
e) To analyse the trends in Online banking with help of primary data
f) To explain different forms of Online banking and to analyse the rules and regulations
provided by RBI
g) To Highlight the security problems faced and ways to reduce the security issues with
help of different control tools

3. Methodology of the Project

• The Project will be prepared with the combination of theoretical knowledge as well as
practical knowledge and a blend of advices and suggestion from the guide of the project.
• Various books, websites and Magazines will be scrutinized in extracting the theoretical
element. All these activities will be conducted as per the guide consent.
• Questionnaire will be prepared for both Customers and Bank Managers for primary
data collection of the project. The data collected through Primary method will be
represented Graphically and Findings and Suggestions will be drawn.
• Finally, the project will be advantageously finished with various kinds of experiences
gained throughout

5. Sources of Data Collection

The study of project is based on both Primary and Secondary collection data

Primary Data: For the purpose of Customer reviews on Online Banking system primary data
will be collected from 50 respondents through questionnaire and direct interview.
Questionnaire will be prepared for both customers and bank manager to get insight view about
Online banking system from both ends.

Secondary Data: The secondary data will be collected with the help of different books, internet
websites, white papers, articles, magazines and newspapers.
