 The learner independently prepares an occupational health and safety checklist being
applied in carpentry.

At the end of the lesson, learners will be able to:
1. Familiarize and differentiate hazards and risk with its different signs and symbols.
2. Value the importance of knowing hazards and risk.
3. Demonstrates an understanding of the concepts of occupational health and safety procedures.

Before we start our discussion, let’s have first an

activity, which is related to hazard and risk. Our
activity called “Fixed me I’m broken ‘’ I have an
envelope inside this envelope a broken picture and
all you have to do is to fix it to reveal the picture.
