Cable glands KBB-G and KBB-MR are intended for
applications on chemical and petrochemical sites, offshore
platforms, oil refineries and in other industries with a
potentially hazardous environment (gas and combustible
dust).
Cable glands are used for sealing and securing non-armored
cables in housings of explosion-proof electrical installations,
both indoor and outdoor, in hazardous areas with a
potentially explosive environment:
– KBB-G – for cable in a metal corrugated pipe;
– KBB-MP – for cable in a metal hose.
Cable glands come complete with all internal gaskets,
rings and locknuts.
Cable glands KBB-G and KBB-MP come in brass or stainless
steel. Internal gasket and seal material: elastomer, silicone.
The product is explosion-proof and is provided with
types of protection: flameproof enclosure “d”, increased
explosion safety “e”, explosion protection from dust
ignition “t”.
Applications: explosive areas of classes 0, 1, 2 according
to GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011 in accordance with the
explosion protection labeling, GOST IEC 60079-14-2011
and areas with combustible dust ignition hazard of classes
20, 21, 22 according to GOST IEC 60079-10-2-2011 in
accordance with the explosion protection labeling.
