Tik Tok Transition Song

Wake up in the morning feeling like Ms. Smitty

Grab my pencil gonna write, like I own this city
Before I write, grab my list out of my backpack
‘Cause when I use transition words, they keep my flow in tact

When I contrast I use even so, on the other hand and

although
However, still and even though
To compare I use similarly, likewise, subsequently
I use transitions proudly

Chorus:
In addition, also, for example, although
However, finally, thus, consequently
Tik tok, timer stops
and my writing’s on top, now, oh oh oh (2x)

Ain’t got a care in the world, ‘cause I know how to write

My vocabulary’s bangin’ and my syntax is tight
And now I throw transitions in ‘cause it adds to my swagger
Now my writing’s so sharp, that it cuts like a dagger

To show results I use therefore, hence

Transition words just make sense
These words are making sense
(Back to Chorus)

They set things up, they break them down

They make the flow sound so easy
When my time’s up, I got it down
Best thing around, yeah, I’ve got it (2x)

Now the paper won’t rock ‘til these walk in
