Founded in 1964
IB and CIS accreditated since 1982 As the first, and leading, International Baccalaureate World School in France, our
mission is to prepare students to engage with and succeed in a complex world.
With the three International Baccalaureate programmes (Primary, Middle, and
Diploma) as our curriculum and the city of Paris as our inspiration, students
work in an environment of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity,

Grading for each subject is reported on the transcript and follows the IB assessment
criteria based on a seven-point scale. Grades are issued at the end of each semester.
ISP does not calculate GPA or provide a class ranking due to high student mobility.
International School of Paris All students in Grades 11 and 12 are encouraged to follow the rigorous IB Diploma
Educating for complexity Program, and ISP has put in place the support structures necessary for them to
succeed. Students also earn an American accredited high school diploma after
successfully completing Grades 9 – 12.

ISP encourages students to complete extensive research in order to select a limited number
of colleges and universities representing best-fit choices.

IB DIPLOMA. The worldwide
average is around 30%. 10% of our students take the SAT and ACT. The school curriculum does not prepare students
for these standardized tests, nor do we promote their validity in assessing academic ability.

Discipline
ISP reports out-of-school suspensions/expulsions on a student’s disciplinary record. If a
suspension/expulsion occurs in Grade 12 after university applications have been submitted,
78% the student and university counselor must disclose this to all requesting institutions where
