Group offers a wide range of banking products and financial
services to corporate and retail customers and it was founded in
1994.

• It deals in security market.
• Before 1998 the security market was dealing in physical
format.
• There were share brokers who performed the job of the
intermediaries between the two parties.
• The brokers were purchasing and selling the securities on
behalf of the investors.
• ICICI Securities Ltd is an integrated securities firm
offering a wide range of services including investment
banking, institutional broking, retail broking, private
wealth management, and financial product distribution.

Type of account in ICICI Securities
1. Simple Demat Account: The simple demat account is the most simple form of
ICICI Securities product. It gives a demat account to account holder. The customer
can purchase and sell the share, government bond, and debenture. In this account
the customer is suppose to deal in share market with the help of broker.

2. Wise Investment: The Wise Investment Account is somewhat advanced version


of simple demat account. This account gives the customer the freedom of doing
online trading in Government bonds, Initial Public Offers and Mutual funds. Again
here the main trading system is through the broker only.

3. Direct.com: The most advanced version of share trading is ―Direct.com‖. It


allows the trading through internet and gives totally paperless work. It is the most
effective way of doing the share trading. ―Direct.com‖ allows the customer to work
at his own. Means it removes the broker and a terminal is given in hand of
customer.
What is Demat ?
• Demat refers to dematerialized account.

• Conversion of physical securities into electronic form.

• Demat works as intermediary between depository and


the investors.

• By demat account one can sale or purchase the


securities (Shares, Bonds Etc.).

the quality services.

for investing in the stock market.
• Transaction details for the traders done in the last month
are available online.
• With ICICI Securities Limited one can manage own de-mat
and bank accounts directly and independently.
CONCLUSION
• ICICISecurities Ltd. is performing very well in the field of
online share trading business and having very good
administration also.

•The management taking keen interest for finding their


weakness and try their level best to overcome these
weaknesses.

•Each departments doing their job very well comparing to the


standard performance fixed by the management and it leads to
overall good performance of the company.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Customers are facing overcrowding, non-availability of
telephone lines, so proper measures should be taken to
overcome these problems.
• The ICICI official should conduct regular training demo
classes for the new account holders.
