 Introduction

This Product activity is the route that was done by the first units in the course of English B1,
where later some exercises that feeds us the knowledge acquired during the past English
courses and leads us to be part of stories evidenced the which will come to our imagination.
 Stage 1: Technology and its effects on environment (1st week)

Write a paragraph answering this question: What do you think will happen if current trends
of technology development and consumerism continue? You can use the following
vocabulary for the text:
From my point of view technology can anticipate innovations that would occur in the future,
such as cognitive science, artificial intelligence, however over time the consumerism of
ourselves with technological devices and the need to acquire them, as the days go by we
see new entries in technology and robotics with various areas that continue to damage the
environment, is too far away to know what we do harm.
Gets plenty of hype, but let's not forget the importance of teaching and learning, teaching is
not merely about systems, facts, figures and certainly does not exist to promote insularity
and lack of social interaction, The improvement of living conditions caused by technological
development increased world population, energy expenditure, food production and
consumer goods. Turn accelerated environmental pollution, deforestation, the rise of big
cities and other phenomena that have become a problem for humanity. We intend to show
the current problems between the technological development of its impact on the
environment, human health and the possible ways of finding solutions. Pollution attacks the
human health, water or air, due to reduced crop yields, also on the health of livestock and
fisheries. It has released sufficient quantities of CO2 and other greenhouse gases that have
caused an excess mortality estimated at 70 000 deaths, aggravate cardiovascular and
respiratory disease with 1.2 million deaths each year in urban areas. The levels of pollen
and other allergens are higher which may cause allergic conditions like asthma, which
affects about 300 million people. Natural disasters have more than tripled since the sixties,
every year these disasters cause more than 60 000 deaths. The increasing variability of
rainfall will affect the supply of fresh water and which will endanger the health, increase the
risk of diarrheal diseases that kill 2.2 million people each year. It has doubled the frequency
of extreme droughts and their average length of six, increasing famine. Is likely to prolong
the seasons of major vector-borne diseases such as Schistosomiasis malaria and dengue.

It is necessary to understand the urgency of the measures and the importance of the
participation of all in the care of natural resources.

The crisis facing the world is high because we have not taken the appropriate

Dear António Guterres

The main objective of the letter is to show the effects that the technologic has produced in
the environment, and to contribute with the Development towards the welfare of this, over
the years we see how our resources are deteriorating due to the bad management that we do,
to take measures in favor of improving an environment for future generations must become
aware of what is right or wrong.

The daily use of electronic devices, excessive in the life waste has generated global warming,
this harm both flora and fauna by the mismanagement we have been doing, with this seeks
to generate, design, implement campaigns to protect the ambitad where we are.
Therefore, I suggest developing sustainability campaigns, currently we have fourteen
sustainable objectives which help us to mitigate the damage we cause, developing
compliance strategies, and showing them that if we can build a cleaner society, which it
adjusts to new challenges of world
