Apple Teacher Certification
Free, online self-paced professional learning opportunities re: Macs & iPads
As we expand our iPad program next year from K-3 to K-8, teachers are taking this opportunity to
learn more about Apple devices by becoming Apple Certified teachers. So far, Margaret Gunter, Emily
Edwards, Claire Christerson, and Allyson Campbell have earned Apple Teacher Certification.
“I've been curious to go through the Apple training for quite some
time now and ATC was a quick, practical, and painless way to do
this on my own schedule. Apple really did a great job breaking the
trainings into small, manageable pieces that could easily be
completed in several settings.” - Claire Christerson, Glenn

Interested in learning more about the built-in features of your Mac or iPad? The Apple Teacher
website offers resources to learn more about these devices in general, as well as specific programs
such as iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, and more. Earn certification through the Mac track, the iPad
track, or both.
If you are interested in becoming Apple Teacher Certified, navigate to appleteacher.apple.com and
sign in with an Apple ID (an Apple ID tied to a personal email address is recommended). Who will be
next to earn ATC?
• If you often ask students or colleagues to make a copy of a Google doc that you have created, you
can force users to make a copy of a Google doc by adding /copy to the end of the Google doc URL.
