Materials • Hula hoops, pinnies, rubber dodgeball, pinnies, skipping ropes

Introduction - Go through attendance- remind them about their journals and who needs to come to
tutorial!
~ 5 mins Warm up
- Tic tac toe relay
- Get them into groups of 4
- 2 teams at each tic tac toe grid
- Each team will get 3 pinnies of the same colour
- They have to run to the hula hoops and place their pinnie. They are trying to get a straight
line (diagonal, horizontal, vertical) – like tic tac toe
- once the pinnies are placed and if they do not have a straight line yet they can move THEIR
colour of pinnies
Body The team that is faster will have the advantage for this game.
~30 mins crazy kickball
- use the shake app to make 2 teams
- go over the rules with them and then let them play.
Rules:
- like kick ball but they can go to any base they want (it doesn’t have to be in order they just
need to go to ALL 3 bases before going home
- when someone comes running into home a person in the line needs to run to a base (if there
are 2 people that come into home then 2 others need to run)
- 3 outs and then they switch
- They will remain in the same kicking order.
Closure • How did they feel about the game? Would they want to play it again? Did you use any
strategies as a team? How can we make it better?
