Calibration
(1) Monitoring system display

(5) This keypad is located on the right hand console.

Note: See Troubleshooting, Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR8068 for more
information concerning the monitoring system.

Note: When "PASSWORD" screen appears, use the right key (3) and the left key (2) in order
to scroll through the characters. When the desired character is highlighted, press the OK key
(4) . Enter the password for service FFF2 in order to continue to the "SERVICE" screen.

(6) Connector for Cat ET

Note: You can also perform the calibrations with the Cat ET.

The following is a list of calibrations that can be performed with the monitoring system.

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate all valves:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

4. Calibrations

5. Control Valves

6. "ALL VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 1 for the number that is displayed.

Step Operation
1 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.
2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.
3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.
4 Press the OK key in order to go to the next step.
5 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.
6 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.
7 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.
8 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.
9 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.
10 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.
11 Sustain the left lever BACK.
12 Release all levers and release all pedals.
13 Press the OK key in order to go to the next step.
14 End of the calibration.

Boom Valve
Perform the following steps In order to calibrate the boom valve:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

4. Calibrations

5. Control Valves

6. "BOOM VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 2 for the number that is displayed.

1 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

4 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

5 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.

6 Release all levers and release all pedals.

7 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

8 End of the calibration.

Stick Valve
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the stick valve:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

5. Control Valves

6. "STICK VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 3 for the number that is displayed.

Bucket Valve
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the bucket valve:

1. Main Menu

6. "BUCKET VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 4 for the number that is displayed.

1 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

4 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

5 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

6 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.

7 Release all levers and release all pedals.

8 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

9 End of the calibration.

Right Travel Valve

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the right travel valve:

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

6. "RIGHT TRV VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 5 for the number that is displayed.

Left Travel Valve
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the left travel valve:

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 6 for the number that is displayed.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

Attachment Valve
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the attachment valve:
 1. Main Menu

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 7 for the number that is displayed.

2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

4 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

5 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.

6 Release all levers and release all pedals.

7 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

8 End of the calibration.

Power Shift Pressure Valve

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the power shift pressure valve:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

 4. Calibrations

5. "PS PRESSURE VALVE"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 8 for the number that is displayed.

Note: The Engine Speed Dial must be at Position 10 in order to successfully complete the
calibration.

Step Operation

1 Connect the pressure gauge. Then press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

Press the right key or the left key in order to increase or decrease the current value. Tune
2 the pressure to the target. When you finish adjusting then press the "OK" key to go to the
next step.

3 Go to step 2.

4 End of the calibration.

Boom Lowering Check Valve

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the boom lowering check valve:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

4. Calibrations

5. Check Valves

6. "BLCV"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 9 for the number that is displayed.

1 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

4 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

5 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.

6 Release all levers and release all pedals.

7 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

8 End of the calibration.

Stick Lowering Check Valve

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the stick lowering check valve:

1. Main Menu

2. Service

3. Enter the "USER" password or the "SERVICE" password.

4. Calibrations

5. Check Valves

6. "SLCV"

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 10 for the number that is displayed.

1 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

2 Raise the boom and the stick to the maximum position. Then press the "OK" key.

3 Set the lever for hydraulic oil to the UNLOCK position.

4 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

5 Hold the left lever in the BACK position.

6 Release all levers and release all pedals.

7 Press the "OK" key in order to go to the next step.

8 End of the calibration.

All Calibrations
Perform the following steps in order to calibrate all calibrations:

Left Lever (Forward and Back)

Perform the following steps in order to calibrate the left lever (forward and back):

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in

Fan Speed

When a blue number is displayed, perform the operation that corresponds with the step in
table 23 for the number that is displayed.

Step Operation

Connect the speed sensor to the fan. Then press the "OK" key in order to go to the next

step.

Press the right key or the left key in order to increase or decrease the current value. Tune
2 the fan speed to the target. When you finish adjusting the fan speed then press the "OK"
key.

3 Go to step 2.
