Engine News SEBD9936, April 2014, "New Air Inlet Valves and Valve Seats Are Used On Certain C27and
C32 Industrial Engines ". Disregard the current article. Refer to the article that follows. The effective serial
number table is updated.

Description of Change: The new inlet valve and seat are more robust.

Adaptable To: The new 236-5605 Inlet Valve and 280-3979 Valve Seat Insert replaces the current inlet valve
and valve seat inserts. The new inlet valve and valve seat insert are adaptable back to first production on the
serial numbers listed above.

This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
