The low-set stage (I>) of the overcurrent unit can be configured for inverse time characteristic.

Four sets of characteristic curves according to IEC 60255-3 are available for the low-set stage, i.e.:
Normal Inverse (NI), Very Inverse (VI), Extremely Inverse (EI) and Long Time Inverse (LTI). The
mathematical expressions and the curve sets are given in Figs. 2.2.1.-3, -4, -5 and -6.

Limitations:

1. The maximum measured current is 50 x In. This limits the scope of inverse curves when the
setting is more than 2.5 x In. E.g. at setting 4 x In the maximum setting relative current is 12.5 x
Iset/In although the curves are defined up to 20 x Iset/In

2. The fastes possible operating time is about 60 ms at inverse time characteristic according to
curve types VI and EI.

La etapa de ajuste bajo (I>) de la unidad de sobrecorriente se puede configurar para características de tiempo
inverso. Hay disponibles cuatro conjuntos de curvas características según la norma IEC 60255-3 para la etapa
de ajuste bajo, es decir: Inversa Normal (NI), Muy Inversa (VI), Extremadamente Inversa (EI) y Inversa a
Largo Plazo (LTI). Las expresiones matemáticas y los conjuntos de curvas se dan en las Figs. 2.2.1.-3, -4, -5 y
-6.
Limitaciones:
1. La corriente máxima medida es de 50 x In. Esto limita el alcance de las curvas inversas cuando la
configuración es más de 2.5 x In. P.ej. en el ajuste 4 x En el ajuste máximo, la corriente relativa es 12.5 x Iset
/ In, aunque las curvas están definidas hasta 20 x Iset / In
2. El tiempo de funcionamiento posible de los ayunos es de aproximadamente 60 ms en tiempo inverso según
las características de curva VI y EI.
