1. Pupils discuss in small groups any special relationships that they have.
2. Pupils then look at the picture on p. 43 of the Student’s Book and discuss their reaction to it.

II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT

Activity A
1. Pupils keep their books closed
2. Pupils brainstorm on what animals can do
3. Teacher writes on the board as many jobs as possible.

3. Pupils skim through the text while answering the questions individually.

1. Ask pupils to review their learning by giving a one-minute verbal summary of the lesson.
2. Allow pupils to discuss their ideas with their talk partner(s) and then to choose pupils to
share their summaries with the class.
