Pronouns
→ a word that is used instead of a noun or a noun phrase
→ are often used to refer to a noun that has already been mentioned.

I. PERSONAL PRONOUN
→ refers to some specific person, place, or thing.

Types of Personal Pronoun

1.First Person pronound


→ refers to the person speaking.
e.g I, We
a. I saw an elephant.
b. We have bought a new house.
Please give me an examples using the first person pronoun.

2. Second Person Pronoun


→ refers to the person spoken to.
e.g you
a. Do you have a pencil?

3. Third Person Pronoun


→ refers to the person or thing(people or things) spoken about.

e.g He, She, It, They


a. Scott is a good boy.
He is a good boy.
b. Jenny is goping to the kitchen. She is going to get some water.
c. The bag is big and it is color yellow.
d. They are playing soccer.

II. POSSESSIVE PRONOUN
→ refers to ownership that is something belonging to somebody.
