I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the period the pupils


are able to:

A. Cognitive:
 Visualize and solve division of numbers up to 100 by 2, 3,4,5 to10
 Transform the word problems into a number sentence.
B. Affective:
 Appreciate the value of sharing in one’s own life.
 Develop critical thinking by getting answer every question given.
C. Psychomotor:
 Perform the operation of division.
 Play games in solving division.

A. Topic: Visualize and solve division of numbers up to 100 by 2, 3, 4,5 to10

III. PROCEDURES:
A. Preliminary Activities

a. Drill: Skip Counting by 2 to 5


b. Review: “Flash Card”
Identify the parts of Division Sentence.
c. Motivation: Find the quotient in the given situation.
d. Discussion “Visualize and solve division of numbers up to 100 by 2, 3, 4,5
to10”
e. Guided Group Activity
Analyze, write the given situation and number sentence and then find the
quotient.

B. Post Activities
a. Analysis:
-Why we need to learn the concepts of division?
- Why is it we need to know how to divide numbers even things equally?

b. Abstraction:
- How important to the young children like you to know the concept of dividing
numbers and things equally?
- How does dividing objects help in sharing equally?
c. Concepts:
-Division is the distribution of things equally into groups of the same size.
- Division is the short way of subtracting the same number repeatedly.

d. Application:

- Solve and find the quotient of the given problems.

C. Evaluation:
-Write the division sentence and find the quotient.

D. Assignment:
- Write the quotient for each problem. Then color according the given
illustration.
