Ministerial Secretary of the Ontario Conference, to our church

ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Today - Pastor Oppong would like to meet with the Elders,
Deacons and Deaconesses in the Sanctuary following the
potluck lunch.
2) The Friends of Jesus Adventurer club meets this afternoon,
April 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
3) Pathfinders Club Sunday from 10am – 12 pm.
4) Inviting ALL to prayer, Bible Study and testimonies on
Wednesday night at 7 pm. Come and be blessed!
5) Every third Wednesday evening of the month, the youth and
young adults will facilitate prayer meeting. This is an
opportunity to learn the dynamics of prayer, to pray
together, and for each other.
6) Parents with Children: The Mother’s room is available for
your comfort. If you need assistance, please speak to the
deacons/deaconess on duty.
7) Parents and guardians please be aware of your
child’s/children’s whereabouts in church. Your child(ren)
MUST always BE in your company.
8) April 10 - Monthly Open House Community Service from 4 to
7 pm. Setting up is done on Tuesday evening starting at 5
pm. Volunteers are needed for both dates. Please speak to
Teresa Ferreira or any member of the Community Services
Team for more details.
9) Sunday, April 14 - Women’s Ministry will be having a
fellowship breakfast at 10:00 a.m. Ladies, please bring a dish
to share and bring a friend.
2019 - 2020 school year. Kindergarten spots are especially
filling up so apply early.
- ACES will be having Education Sabbath at the West and
North churches on April 13 & 27.
- Teacher appreciation week is April 15 - 19. Let’s let our
dedicated teachers know how much you appreciate
them!

16) College Park Elementary School (CPES) is looking for a Grade 8 Sermon Notes
teacher who: 1. Wants to lead students to Jesus, 2. Is
committed to helping students experience their best
academically and socially, 3. Is able to implement multiple
strategies of instruction and assessment. They must also be
able to teach cross-curricular intermediate subjects. They must
have strengths in intermediate or above Math and Science. The
ability to teach French would be beneficial. CPES is located in
Oshawa, Ontario.
