PHYSICAL PROPERTIES ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES
Daelim Polybutene does not contain inorganic materials and conductors; its own insulating property is excellent.
Molecular Weight
The number average molecular weight(Mn) in Daelim Polybutene ranges from 300 to 2,500.
The Mn can be determined experimentally with gel permeation chromatography. CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
Density
The density of Daelim Polybutene varies with temperature changes as follows.
Oxidation Stability
Under normal use, Daelim Polybutene offers great resistance to air oxidation.
Lubricity
With high viscosity index and no residual carbon remained at high temperature,
Daelim Polybutene can be used in blend with other lubricants and oils.

Fuel Detergent
Detergents serve to reduce deposits on the engine valve and emit low exhaust smoke, and also prolong the lifetime of engine.
Daelim Polybutene derivative is a performance material added to fuel detergent to provide excellent cleanliness.
Lubricant Dispersants
Dispersants serve to reduce and prevent deposits in engine. Those in commercial use are prepared from polybutene and they
minimize engine deposits at low temperature.
ADHESIVES
WRAP FILM
Daelim Polybutene is used for wide application in the formulation of various types of adhesives such as Pressure Sensitive
The addition of Daelim Polybutene to LLDPE improves film properties including elongation,

not only company development but also sustainable environmental development.
Two-Stroke(2T) engines are used in scooters, lawn mowers, chain saws and boats.
Soot of 2T-engine at high temperature generates smoke in case of rapid acceleration and sudden stop.
NSF(National Sanitation Foundation)
Daelim Polybutene easily depolymerizes at high temperature and leaves almost no carbon residue.
Aiming Industrial Safety&Health, Daelim registers Polybutene products on NSF,
Daelim Polybutene results in low carbon deposit formulation and emits low exhaust smoke(JASO FC grade) in the engine exhaust
which evaluates suitability of high quality and safety of products.

Introduction
Environmental friendly coating area. KSCNT has been key
supplier of additives and resins for many special purpose
currently in use of powder coatings and liquid coatings.
This booklet introduces several newly developed materials,
including references of customer’s applications.
General Definition
Levelling agent are additives for paint and inks to proper flow out and wetting to resin, pigment & fillers.
Anti-cratering performance can be added by cross-contaminations.
How to use
Reacrone PCL is well known in the world for its reliable performance as a flow control agent for
general industrial powder coatings. It is well suited for the spectrum of common binder chemistries
including polyesters, polyurethanes, hybrids, epoxies, and acrylics. Reacrone PCL is based on a liquid
acrylic polymer that has been converted into free flowing powder by adsorption onto silica. Reacrone
RLP is based on a liquid acrylic polymer carried on polyester resin. For best results, Reacrone should
be dry-blended with other coating raw materials, then homogenized in a heated extruder. The active
ingredient is released and homogenized with the other components during extrusion, and results in a
uniform system. Surface defects such as orange peel, craters, pinholes and other imperfections can be
reduced or eliminated by incorporating 0.5-2.0% of Reacrone into powder coating formulations.
As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best
processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive.

Semi-gloss agent
React PSA is used for gloss reduced powder coatings. All kind of powder coatings for gloss level
between 10-80% may easily formulated by the use of React PSA grades. Coatings based on React
PSA grades are stable for color & gloss under over-bake conditions.

General Definition
Levelling agents are additives for paint and inks to proper flow out and wetting to resin,
pigment & fillers.
Anti-cratering performance can be added by cross-contaminations.
How to use
Reacreon LP is based on a viscous acrylic copolymer that is 100% active material.
These materials used for liquid paint or master batches with resins.

Acrylic Resin
Reacrone AC-1440 provides an outstanding combination of hardness, flexibility, and
adhesion to various substrates. Especially, Reacrone AC-1440 acrylic resin can be
dissolved in toluene, xylene, selected esters, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone.
Reacrone AC-1660 is easily soluble in many organic solvents such as ketones, esters,
aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents and alcohols. It has good solvent release
ability and excellent compatibility with other film forming resins, such as CAB, NC,
chlorinated rubber, vinyl resin, and also plasticizer.

Blocked Isocyanate
Reurane is blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate (HDI homopolymer). Hiblock is typically used
as a cross-linker of hydroxylated polymers as polyesters and acrylic polyol to prepare heat
activated on component polyurethane systems for weatherable coatings giving excellent
mechanical properties with outstanding resistance to solvent, abrasion and chemical
products.
Reurane is commonly used in Automotive OEM formulations, coil coatings(PCM) and other
general industrial coatings on metal.

Research
and Development
To create new business opportunities with the vision of creating the future of Kukdo
Finechem as a producer and supplier of world-leading chemical products, Kukdo
Finechem R&D Center is researching epoxy reactive diluents, highly functional epoxy
compounds, water soluble and water dispersed epoxy compounds, unsaturated
polyesters, and organometallic catalysts for the synthesis of various resins such as
urethane resins. Kukdo Finechem R&D Center has many years of experience and
technical skills that have commercialized most products that are produced and sold by
Kukdo Finechem starting from the laboratory and going through pilot reactors. Kukdo
Finechem R&D Center is now focusing on the development of high-performance resin
materials and eco-friendly chemicals to actively respond to the needs of our customers.

its application in various segments. The benefits provided by
nitrocellulose include: NITROGEN CONTENT
• Compatibility with various resins and plasticizers; The nitrogen content reflects the cellulose’s degree of nitration
• Solubility in many organic solvents; and exerts direct influence on the solubility, physical and chemical
• Low residual solvent retention; strength of our nitrocellulose.
• Fast drying;

Tolonate™ X FLO 100 shows an excellent compatibility with hydrophobic resins
like Hydroxyl Terminated PolyButadiene and enables to improve the mechanical
properties (elongation at break) of elastomers (see graph 4). Among other
characterictics, Tolonate™ X FLO 100 leads to increased flexibility of crosslinked
materials. When used as a co-crosslinker in PU systems, Tolonate™ X FLO 100
can modify the glass transition temperature range (Tg) of the final product (see
