JOBS RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisor in plant service for Scaffold erection to access tube bundle pulling work &
blinding & de-blinding work and remove pipe insulation for blinding work.
Line to be isolated, drain and purge the system ready to blinding.
Blinding work before pipe spools are removed.
Removal of channel head spools and shell side spools.
Removal of channel cover, channel head, shell cover and floating head.
Dis-assemble backing device & Pull out tube bundle and send it to cleaning yard at site.
Cleaning tube bundle by hydro jetting & Shell side internal cleaning at site.
Shell side visual inspection & repair tubes (if found damages).
Send tube bundle back to site & reinstate tube bundle.
Install back channel head, channel cover, backing device.
Perform tube side leak test and Shell Side for Hydro test.
Witness the Hydro testing and sign the reports.
Supervising all the hydro test activities for all thee equipment’s and lines
Install floating head, shell cover, conduct shell side leak test.
Reinstate channel outlet pipe spool.
Bolt Torqueing on shell & tube side flanges.
De-blind as per blind list and sign off in flange check list.
Reinstate piping insulation and Dismantle scaffold.
Housekeeping work around job site area.
Raising and closing of proactive, standard violations and internal NCR, s of their concerned areas,
Coordinate with site construction team on any quality issues,
Familiar with International codes such as ASME 31.3, 31.4,31.8, 16.5, Sec V & IX, API 510,570&
653 etc.,
Preparation of All documents related from start to close out the job including from Material
Receiving, fabrication, installation, coating, testing & As Built (As per Applicable Standards),
Checking of material specification as per IFC MTO & Isometrics,
Selection of Suitable welding Consumables as per WPS Specifications,
Checking of fit‐up and co‐ordinates of spool joints in erection work as per isometrics & Checking
of various supports fabrication and installation is as per standard support specifications,
Inspection of all welding activities prior, during and after, which include material check,
qualifications and calibrations of welding equipment’s,
Inspection & Preparing of daily welding reports and all related documents,
Witnessing of welder qualification test and WPQR, issuing of welder qualification cards,
Maintaining data base of welder qualification cards,
Closely Monitor the performance of welders, repair of welds, analyses the causes and initiate
preventive and corrective actions,
Monitoring weekly and monthly welder’s performance,
Conducting & coordinating of NDT (PT/MT/UT/ RT) on welded joints as per NDT plan & given
specifications,
Conducting tool box meetings for welders for safety as well as quality concepts,
Interpretation of radiographs as per codes & standards,
Monitoring & Review of Preheat/Post heat (PWHT) of piping joints,

Make sure that activities are done in accordance with standard codes of practice, drawings,
applicable job specifications, Quality control procedures (QCP), and Inspection and Test plan (ITP)
at the job site.
Strict follow-up of the implementation of approved ITP.
Assist in preparing Quality Procedures and Test Packages.
Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawings and dimension check of completed spools.
Reviewing piping isometrics drawing and details. Check all weld sizes, profile and locations.
Verify heat number, inspection during fabrication and erection such as pipe cut length, edge
preparation, fit-up, branch connections, flanged joints, valve connections, bending and forming,
hot adjustment, bolt, nuts, washer, gasket and tolerances cleaning requirements.
Inspection of Structural supports as per Isometric Drawings.
Clearing of punch/snag list and inspection release note.
Preparation and Client approval of Hydro test packages.
Witnessing of Hydro test of Piping, valves as required along with the client Inspector.
Co-ordinate with construction, testing group and QC department in the preparation of the
requirements of each test pack. Hydro testing and facilitate close out of any outstanding punch
items before and after Hydro test.
Visual Inspection and Hydrostatic/Pneumatic Test witnessing of valves at vendor shops.
Monitor welder performance, weekly repair rates, and lot and penalty control.
Monitor storage and handling of welding consumables like low hydrogen electrodes.
Attend RFIs as per the ITP in each stage of fabrication or installation.
Coordinate NDTs, PMIs, PWHTs, & Hardness tests and review the results as per required
standards.
Carrying out Inspection on Piping and Pipelines for orientation, bolt tightening, gasket
verification, spool verification etc. with relevant engineering drawings & specs

2. APOLLO (Apollo Tyres Ltd.)-studied about the manufacturing process of different types of Tyres.

Primarily in the OIL& Gas Field Petrochemicals, Refinery and Power & Water Plant projects, Currently
working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Responsible to oversee & manage all aspects of QA/QC for the
multi discipline construction, Production, precommissioning, mechanical completion and ready for start
up of the plants.
Also responsible for defining and developing Strategies and plans to ensure compliances with Established
Codes, Standards, Working as QA/QC Engineer Reporting to manager of Company.
Review applicable standard and Specification , Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s Quality documentation
Including welding Procedure , NDE procedure and ITP’S in order to ensure the effective Quality
Management on site QC inspection and testing activities .
