The universities and the ranking system

Unlike Pakistan, the Germans do not rank the universities as this is the number 1
university and this is number 2. Rather they put the universities in certain groups and
from this you can understand where a university stands. To compare and contrast
between different universities, follow the following link and you’ll get an idea.

Living costs and the standard of living in different cities

To get an idea about how costly it is to live in a certain city or a country, use the
following link. You can’t just compare German cities here but cities from all over the

Finding a place to live

Of course you must have applied for an accommodation to the studentenwerk but if you
haven’t already got the accommodation, following are some websites via which you can
look for a temporary residence

sure that you’ll get an admission from the university you have applied in or as soon as
you get your admission letter because is normally takes around 8-10 months to get an

Getting to know about Germans in general and student life in particular
