VM Creations for Grid Master and Members and their settings.

- Login to RDP 10.40.18.247 username - root password - per1sc0pe#

- Open Winscp and connect to workstation (ex:- 10.120.20.248 jsingh/Inf0bl0x)

Select the required build from :- 10.120.20.248 workstation where in you will have access to
build paths and store it in 10.40.18.247 to use while deploying the vm instance.

Release build Path:

/import/release_archive/dns/7x/

For Eg: 7.2.0 release builds:

/import/release_archive/dns/7x/7.2/OFFICIAL/NIOS_7.2.0_290571_2015-07-26-00-37-
24_x86_64/ForSupport/

Note: Builds under ForSupport folder are for vm instalnces.

For Master need ----> 55G/160G-xxx0.ova (image)

For Member/ND need ----> 55G/160G-ND-Vxx00.ova (image)

- VM Creation.

Open VMware vSphere Client – Enter IP address- 172.23.16.25 and your infoblox
username/password

Select required blades to deploy the vms.

i.e QTS NCCM DataCenter -> Infrastructure Cluster -> vm17eng.inca.infoblox.com.

Click on File -> Deploy OVF Template.

For Master select /160G-xxx0.ova file for which was copied to local folder on 10.40.18.247.

And for ND VM creation select 160G-ND-Vxx00.ova

Select the network 10.120.32.0/24.

Note just above 2 steps i.e selection particular build file and network options and for rest click
on Next button.

After VM creations. Right click on Edit Settings and in the Adapter 2, select VLAN 99 adapter.
Settings on VM Console.

Master Configuration on Console:

1)Set network (Provide Scan IP)

2) Set temp_license (6,2,8)

3) Set interface mgmt (Provide mgmt IP)

Member/ND Configuration on Console:

1) Set network

2) Set temp_license (1, 3, 2)

On GM UI (configure Scan IP of member):
Set membership on Member: (To join to Grid master)

Now Member should join to GM… here u can add Member MGMT IP.
