JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

 Responsible to review / assess technical specification, BOQ (Bill Of Quantity),

 Prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications,
BOQ's and drawings, as per company requirements.
 Review potential vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best cost
effective offer and delivery date among them.
 Responsible to review quotations of identified technical and commercial
specifications received from the suppliers.
 To prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance to the project schedule to
ensure the availability of the materials when needed, with selected suppliers
price, technical specifications and delivery date.
 Handle the purchases of the company from various manufacturers/ Suppliers
 Co-ordination with the vendors during all the stages of the procurement process
and invoice certification.
 Work in accordance to company procedures to achieve a professional, ethical,
reliable and cost effective total Procurement service through Market Research,
Budget, and Estimating evaluations.
 Determine if inventory Quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials
when necessary.
 Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve
shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
 Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled
correctly and the goods meet specifications.
 Evaluate and recommend solutions on inspection problems.

 Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate

them to gather information about products to be ordered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

 Responsible for physical inventory audits and reconciliation of internal and


external storage facilities and stock maintenance.

 Provides technical and operational direction to subordinate materials man and


contractors accountable for supporting and compliance with policies, goals,
efforts and programs of the mills HSE management system

 Ensure HSE issues are given primary considerations in all activities under taken
within area of responsibilities ensures unsafe acts and / or conditions, no matter

PLANT MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE :

Duties and responsibilities which I can independently handle and give the best output to

 Responsible for overall maintenance of soda recovery plant with its operation,
shutdown and break down etc.
 Maintenance of Recovery Boilers, Compressors, Fans, Heat Exchangers,
Evaporators, Rotating Machinery Auxiliaries & Utilities of Soda Recovery plant.
 Maintenance of FBC (Fluidized Bed Combustion) boiler
 Selection of all machinery based on Techno-Economical analysis.
 Formulation and implementation of effective maintenance practices and
preventive maintenance
 Supervising activities of foremen, technicians, and helpers.
 Taking effective measures for the smooth functioning of plant without any
breakdown.
 Coordinating the activities of the subordinates and ensure the continuity in the
production process.
 Responsible for preparation and compilation of Quality records and other quality
related documents for project acceptance and final hand over.
