1. DOCUMENT OVERVIEW

This document describes the pre-requisites, compatibilities and restrictions in order to implement
and used the 4059 EE version 1.0.2.2.
The steps to be completed for the installation of this version are described in the Alcatel-Lucent
4059EE - Installation and Configuration guide documentation (8AL90608FRAA).
For further information on attendant set operation, please refer to Alcatel-Lucent 4059 EE- User
Guide documentation (8AL90609FRAA).

2. HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY

Version 1.0.2.2 is compatible with the following operating system:

- Windows 7
- Vista
- XP SP3.
Pre-requisites avec Windows:
− 1 GHz 32-bits (x86) or 64-bits Processor
− 1 GB of system memory
− 40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
− DVD-ROM drive
− Network card

3. COMPATIBILITY OF Alcatel-Lucent 4059 AND OmniPCX Enterprise

Version 1.0.2.2 has been validated from Release OXE R9.1 (I1.605.33.a) and from R10.0
(J1.410.27d).
The Max Attendant 4059EE OPS lock (lock 364) must be enabled. It indicates the number of
attendant with can be connected simultaneously on the system.

4. IMPORTANT ADVICES

4.1 For Alcatel-Lucent 4059 IP / MAC

If an older version of 4059 IP or MAC was installed before, you must uninstall this
application, restart the PC than install 4059 EE.

4.2 Administrator right

Before start the installation, be sure to have the administrator right on the PC to be
able to install 4059 EE application.
For all configuration modification, the 4059 EE application must be started with
administrator right.

4.3 Firewall

Before launching the application, be sure to have allowed the 4059 EE application
in your firewall rules along with “abcacom.exe”.

4.4 Network Interfaces

Before launching the application, be sure to have disable all the interfaces (Virtual
interfaces VMware or others) except network Ethernet or Wi-Fi interface.

5. RESTRICTIONS
4059 EE is not compatible with the antivirus software (“Panda Antivirus Suite”).
