Last January, 2018, the Our Lady of Fatima class had their retreat at Teresians
Daugthers of Mary,Matina Davao City..
The class gathered in the school at exactly 12nn. At 1:30pm, they departed the
school and was able to reach the area at 2:10 in the afternoon. We were the first one in
our batch to have the retreat. We were instructed the day before to pack our
needs, belongings ,necessary things to be used in the said retreat house.
Fortunatley, all of us had been on time. We were taken by a bus and happily,we
were ready. Since this week was the first week of the school year, we able not tothink
about our Pt’s because these days would be for ourselves and time for reflecting.
The next day we had our time to conduct different activities including the way we
reconcile ourselves to someone we did not like ever since and to someone we
loved.Everything was cool.
The last day, was the time that we had to prepare our bags. This event taught
me,that everything can be fixed whenever we had the courage to do so. This retreat
also taght me how to forgive and how to love more. After all this taught me that we need
to go back to God because he was the only who can heal you.
We would like also to extend our gratitude to Maam Cha for the guide and
support during our retreat,to Sir Mark Ortiz for the very successful processing nd
reflection that he gave us and also for the processing and most especially to our Adviser
Ms. Cleofe May B. Sobiaco for the guidance and support.
To sum it up, the retreat of the Gr. 10 Our Lady of Fatima was successful. They
were able to reminisce and reflect. The students enjoyed each other’s company making
the retraet more meaningful and fun.

The program started with a prayer then was followed by a sharing on who the our
Lady of Fatima was. Afterwards, there were few games wherein the children
enthusiastically joined, then the children were given snacks and time to rest.
Lastly, there was a closing prayer to conclude the small program which was
followed by the restoration of the venue. The feast day was then concluded by the
students’ own gathering, where they ate and conversed with each other.
It was indeed a day worth remembering. The class were able to reflect on the
things they did and how they were able to emulate the Our Lady of Fatima. Moreover,
the students were very glad for they were able to share their blessings to others.
