LESSON: Just the Job
TYPE OF LESSON: intergrated skills, aquisition of new knowledge
(jobs, describing people)
TECHNIQUES: conversation, explanation, exercise, game,
elicitation, oral drill activities, description, listening .
MATERIALS: Students’ book, notebook,worksheets, blackboard,
CD.
SKILLS: speaking, reading, writing, listening
CLASS MANAGEMENT: pair-work, individual work
TIME: 50 minutes

Objectives: By the end of the lesson students will be able to:


Cognitive:
- read the text and gist it for specific information;
- create interest in the topic of the lesson
- improve students’ knowledge about occupations and jobs
- read a text and write notes in the chart
- read a text and write a short paragraph about a person
- develop speaking abilities
Affective:
- become more confident in their speaking and listening skills;
- stimulate their imagination;

Anticipated problems:
Students may not know some of the job words in exercise no.1, such
as newsreader or have spelling problems .
Students may find difficult to describe a person
