The generation gap between older and younger people in most countries in the world is simply too wide

to be bridged. To what extent, do you agree or disagree?

Every generation of people usually thinks that their years of youth were more
interesting, challenging and advanterous than youth of their kids and grandchildren. Old
people are tend to blame youngest ones for their meaningless life. “This kids are staring at
their mobiles all the time, it’s ridiculous! We weren’t like that” – they say. Not even the
childhood, everything had changed to worse in their opinion. “Even grass was greener
before” – can you hear sometimes from your old, grumbling grandfather. The tuth is – the
world didn’t change at all, but he did. He is just not young anymore. That is how the gap
between generations appears – older peaople begin envy younger ones.
Youth is really short, and once it’s gone, it’s hard to accept that it’s over. Fortunately,
not all aging people become this grumbling, complaining beings. As I think, there will be no
gap between generations, if aging people wouldn’t be jealous on their descendents. Old
people should remember how it’s like – to be young. When you remember, then it’s easy to
understand and appriciate them and their lifestyle. It’s not equal to yours, but in overall it’s
really similar.
