Subject: Re-installation of the English Lab

As requested by the English Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, this report is to
assess the suitability of the re-installation of the laboratory for the English department.

Facilities

The laboratory offers a perfect environment for students to practice listening and speaking. In
addition, that will replace the old speaker that the teachers are using now. However, the
university will need to incorporate a person in order to look after the place and to guide the
students.

Location and Cost

The laboratory can be placed where the old laboratory, which was donated by the University
of Chicago, was. Nevertheless, the old laboratory has obsolete technology which has to be
replaced. To that end, the university will have to make an investment.

Recommendation

On the basis mentioned above, it would seem that the laboratory for the English Department
will provide to the students a tool for practicing listening and speaking. Most importantly, it
will replace the old speaker that sometimes causes a lot of problems for students due to the
audio quality.
