Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 77.
2. Pupils listen to track CD2 50 and point to the correct
picture in the page.
3. Elicit what the pupils can see in the pictures.
4. Pupils read the paragraph below.
5. Elicit a few responses from pupils about their own
homes.
6. Pupils are guided to write the paragraph about their
own home. They can refer the textbook page (M). Pupils
can fill in the blanks with the parts of the house.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ answers are checked.

Pre-lesson: A few animals and habitats are written on the
board. Pupils are called out to match. This exercise can be
conducted via PowerPoint too.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are presented with a few reading texts about the
different habitats. Pupils are called out at random to be
the mini teacher for the rest of the class.
2. Pupils are asked if there are any words that they don’t
understand.
3. Pupils are explained about the ‘Sitting Station game’.
Pupils draw 4 graphic organisers separately / teacher can
provide a template. Each group gets a reading text about
a different habitat. They fill in the graphic organiser upon
reading the text. In 5 minutes, the ‘runner’ of each group
passes the reading text to another group.
4. Pupils complete the graphics organisers.
