In the course of our lives, we have given and received countless of gifts.

Some gifts
give momentary happiness whilst the most valuable ones are etched in our hearts for as long
as we live. Such are the gifts of Family, of Friendship, of Love.

2018 has been a great year for SGA. We have welcomed 372 new members in our
family of 108 to start. These new breeds of financial planners will help ensure that our
mission and vision will continue through the next generation. It is our responsibility as their
elders, to guide them and to help them be the best of who they can be. That’s what family do
- we care and look after each other.

We have strengthened and expanded our relationship with one another and with our
clients. Some clients have become friends, some friends have become clients. And it is
through these relationships that we continue to grow and learn. That’s what friendship is
about – we enrich each other. We have given so much of ourselves, at our weakest, we ask
ourselves, how much more we can give. There were times when it was easier to walk away
than to carry on. And yet, each of those times there is that soft voice in our heart that says –
carry on – for your family, for your aspirations, for SGA m for FWD. These little acts of
carrying on – is sustained by love, love that we give and love that we receive. At the end of
each journey, we will not be measured by how much you have achieved but by how much we
have loved.

My dear SGA – thank you for being a family, a friend and an unlimited source of
love. Each one of you are the finest gifts we received in this lifetime. Pope Francis said that,
“God never gives someone a gift they are not capable of receiving. He gives us the gift of
Christmas, it is because we all have the ability to understood and receive it”. We look at our
life, look at our family, look at SGA, look at each other and will give us more than enough
reason to thank God and deeper understand the meaning of Christmas.
