1.1. Bank Account Transfer
Screen : Bank Account Transfers
Purpose : To transfer fund between internal bank accounts
Navigation : Cash Management > Bank Account Transfers

Description: Bank account transfers represent fund transfers between internal bank accounts. You can either do an Intra-Company
bank transfer or an Inter-Company bank transfer. Intra-company transfers represent cash transfers between two bank accounts that
belong to the same Company, while Inter-company transfers represent cash transfers between two bank accounts that belong to
two different Companies. In case of such transfers, the system will produce Intercompany journal entries for both Companies
automatically.
Steps:
01. This page allows you to search for existing Transfer, view and update them or create new Transfer. You may conduct a Simple
Search by filling in information in one of the existing fields and then clicking the Go button.

02. Select Create Button to create a new Transfer.
03. Select “No”at Settle Transaction Through Oracle Payments.

04. Enter the bank account transfer information.


05. Click Apply. The bank account transfer is saved with status ‘New’.
06. System will confirm you about that transaction with a transfer number.
07. You can update that transfer by clicking Update button.
08. If you would like to validate the bank account transfer at the same time as saving it, click Apply and Validate. The bank account
transfer will be available for clear transaction.

09. Click Validate if you not already validate the transfer. System will confirm you about that validation with a message and
transaction status will be ‘Settled’ from ‘New’. Please note that the Validate icon is enabled only for bank account transfers in
status ‘New’.

10. After validation you will not be able to update that transaction.
11. Click Duplicate if you want to create another transfer which is almost similar to that transfer.
12. After creating duplicate transfer you can change any of the information of that particular transfer.
13. You can also cancel the transaction in case of any wrong information. System will confirm you about that validation with a
message and transaction status will be ‘Canceled’ from ‘Settled’.

Please note that the Cancel icon is enabled only if both receipt and payment is not cleared or transaction is not already cancelled.

1.2. Clear Transactions
Screen : Clear Transactions
Purpose : To manually clear payments, receipts and bank account transfer
Navigation : Cash Management > Bank Statements > Manual Clearing > Clear Transactions

Description: With this screen you can reconcile transaction created in Payables, Receivables and Cash Management to your bank
statements. When you clear transaction using Oracle Cash Management, Cash Management updates the status of transaction to
‘Cleared’. You can also incorporate bank charge which is related to particular transaction.
Steps:
01. Select one or more of the following types of detail transactions that are available for clearing:
- AR Receipts
- AP Payments
- Cash Management Cashflow
- Miscellaneous

02. Select a bank account.

03. Optionally you can enter any additional search criteria for finding available transactions. Such as
- Transaction number
- Dates
- Amounts
- Cashflow Numbers
- Status
- Currency etc.

04. Choose Find. The Clear Transactions window appears.


05. Review the available transactions.

06. Mark each transaction that you want to clear by checking the box to the left of the transaction.
07. You can update the Amount Cleared, Cleared Date, Value Date, and GL Date.

08. Optionally you can enter any additional information, such as charges.

09. Choose the Clear Transaction button to clear the selected transactions.

1.3. Unclear Transactions

Screen : Unclear Transactions


Purpose : To manually unclear payments, receipts and bank account transfer which is already cleared.
Navigation : Cash Management > Bank Statements > Manual Clearing > Unclear Transactions

Description: With this screen you can unclear the transaction which is cleared by mistake or with incorrect information through
Clear Transaction Screen. When you unclear transaction using Oracle Cash Management, Cash Management reverts the status to
‘Uncleared’.
Steps:
01. Select AR Receipt, AP Payment or Cash Management Cashflow depending on the transaction whose cleared status you want
to unclear.

02. You can enter any search criteria for receipt or payment Organization, Number, Amount, Currency, and Date. You can also
search for receipts and payments based on the Payment Method, Account Number, Batch Name, Status, and Account
Currency Amount. Additionally, for detail transactions, you can enter Agent Name or Number to further narrow your search for a
specific customer or supplier, and for cash management Cash flows you can enter the Agent Bank Account.
03. Choose Find. The Unclear Transactions window appears, displaying a list of all transactions that match your search criteria.

04. Review the transaction information.


05. Mark each transaction you want to unclear by checking the box to the left of the transaction.

06. Choose the Unclear Transaction button to unclear the selected transactions.
