My Philosophy of Teaching: There is a solution to every problem.

Only our deep thinking and

proper planning can influence such.
“I never teach my pupils, as I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.”
― Albert Einstein
When I think about my role as a teacher, one thing on which I have constantly focused is to teach
kids with more practice, less instructions. I believe that giving instructions are easy, but applying
them is a bit more difficult. I want to approach my students with an easy manner, that will help
them to understand what I teach. I don’t let my students stand in a halfway situation. I want to
see them to be successful in their lives. I believe students have interests and possess the power to
make our world a better place, if they are given the right information and tools.

Classroom Environment
It is important to know about the student body, before teaching and instructing them. I believe, if
one has good relations with students, both their strengths and/ weaknesses will be made aware.
Such is the initial step prior to teaching. Every story commences with an introduction. I want my
class to be less of merely a class of students, but more so of a community. My goals are to
understand each and every student under my instructions. Such helps to create an atmosphere of
respect and greater awareness. A better understanding leads to establish a richer learning
environment. I believe that before forming expectations, it is a must to create guidelines, which
will lead students towards our expectations. This management can be effective in any field,
whether such be in sports or teaching. Moreover, proper and planned management can bring a
great field of both glory and personal satisfaction.

Planning For Successful Teaching and Assessment

After becoming aware concerning the strengths and/or weaknesses of my students, I can plan my
teaching strategies. My approach to planning for teaching, includes what need to be learned and
achieved. It is good to present a curriculum, that will incorporate each different learning style. I
trust more so on hands-on learning. Each lesson plan should have an activity that can engage
each and every student in the class. Because it is a proven fact, we can learn more by doing
things by our hands, rather than merely watching or listening. As in the field of Mathematics,
one can never learn by watching or listening. I believe that for such a subject, exhibition could be
included in the lesson plans. My goals are to create best learning efforts for students. The teacher
must complete all the aims and goals in the class, before assessing the knowledge achieved by
each and all students. Assessment should be formative. A teacher should always keep in mind,
that each student has different learning style, methods and personality. My goals for assessment
are to give a fair chance to every student. If a student is not performing well in studies, I would
approach him/her in a positive way towards learning. It is always important to assess a student to
see the level of his/her achievement. I want my students to be successful in their undertakings.
Also, it is important that I understand my students, so we can work together in skill development
and learning.

Approach to Teaching and Working Efficiency with Parents and Fellow

Colleagues
My goals include that students can take advantage of experiences from my profession. Everyone
is aware there is no end to learning, since one continues to learn this lifelong experience, whether
we are teacher or student. I want with my efforts, to make learning as easy as possible for all
students. As a teacher, one should never depend solely on books, as these could bind one. I will
try to teach students in a most effective manner, how to tackle problems.
Collaborating with parents is important to track the path of students, because parents can give us
feedback about our efforts. I believe parents contribute much in the learning experience of their
children. Moreover, collaboration with my colleagues is also necessary to work as a team.
Successful understanding and friendly fellowship with colleagues will help create a safer
environment for my students.

Personal Identity and Development

We know there is no end to learning, as such is a continuing experience. One of my main
objectives is to keep continuous development of skills throughout my chosen career. I will
always be filled with joy, when students increase in knowledge. Since we are humans, we all are
subject to mistakes. Those who correct their errors, are “the real learners”. I am excited about the
opportunities that lie ahead for one and all!
