Bangladeshi Female Rotarian talks about women health in the

House of Lords
[08-03-2019, London] On the eve of International Women’s Day, Soheli Sattar Rima, member of the
Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North West, was invited to talk about the health and hygiene issues of
females in Bangladesh at House of Lords in a even organised by Inner Wheel. She during her session
spoke about the co-relation between period and poverty in her country. She was very interested in the kits
and sustainable pads made by Days for Girls which can be of enormous use in her country.

She was joined at the House of Lords by representatives of organisations working to alleviate period
poverty in Great Britain and Ireland and overseas.
