UNICERT celebrates achievement of the first accredited

ISO certification body & CMMI partner in BD
(May 30, 2018, Dhaka) Today, UNIECRT has organised a celebratory events at a luxury hotel
in Dhaka to formally announce its inception to the league international ISO accreditation as
the first Bangladeshi organisation. UNICERT bagged several other accreditations including
international accreditation services-IAS, USA for few scheme including Quality, Environment
and Anti Bribery Management Systems. In the February 2018 International Accreditation
Services- IAS, USA team was visited to UNIECRT office for assessment of their practice and
quality services including UNICERT operational procedure, manual and other normative
document and auditor onsite witness. Lead assessor was Mr. Neupane Milan from Canada,
who has more than 20 years of accreditation process experience, during the assessment
others members was present by IAS-USA. Moreover, UNICERT is the First Asian accredited
certification bodies for Anti bribery management systems and only registered certification
bodies in Bangladesh by APMG international, United Kingdom for IT services management
systems to operates in the world including, UK, Turkey, India and Malaysia.

During the event, UNICERT Director Mr. Abdul Kader informed the invitees that, this is the
first time any organisation from Bangladesh can conduct local and international
accreditation process of ISO/IEC 17021 to assess a private company with the highest
recognition of the accreditation process for management systems. He exclaimed that, this is
a great opportunity for UNICERT, getting the valuable first chance to enroll under the local
and international accreditation board. And Now, UNICERT is one of the pioneers and the
leading management system certification body in Asia, Providing ISO, CMMI and
international compliance certification, told Mr. Kader.
