All of the above tabulated values are enveloped values for each support location. As such, these
values reflect the worst case actions in each plane of action. Should actual loadcases be
required for each column reaction, these can be provided upon request. Any queries on the
outputs should be raised with the designer.

Design notes:

• As agreed, the model used in the calculation pack has been modified to reflect the
different design as detailed on drawing ref “Kier CTS basic Top + Supports” and also to
include amendments specified over email. Namely these include:
o Larger CTS 2200 x 1590 x 770mm cabinet.
o 2no. U200x60x10 cabinet support members increased to 4no.
o 2no. steel angle cross bracing changed to a K100x100x6 member single
brace.
• Modelling does not account for doubling up of platform ‘U’ members for structural
capacity.
• Connection brackets have not been assessed.
• It is assumed that the cabinet is fixed with 2no. fixings into cross members.
• FRP grade taken as E17.
• It is assumed that CTS cabinet receives full wind loading i.e. elevated platform and kick-
board provides no beneficial protection.
• Cabinet fixing to ‘U’ channel will be limited by pull-through capacity, bearing failure will
not be considered to occur.
