Explorika provides  a comprehensive early years  program for children ages 3 months to 6 years.
Schooling is integrated with the child care routine to enable development of the whole child in a healthy,
hygienic, safe and nurturing environment. Our programs encourage children to be active participants in
the educational process; enables learning through guided explorations.

Program schedules include schooling in the mornings and age appropriate activities (like art, dance,
music, karate, etc) in the afternoons. Full day and Extended child care programs are designed to provide
safe, caring learning environment to children, while their parents are at work.

Age-appropriate childcare programs are designed to suit all working parent’s needs and children
developmental goals. We understand that children spend close to half their waking hours in a child care
setting, our ne crafted care  giving routines are administered by trained child-caregivers.

All programs are based on a play and experimentation, giving children time to explore, investigate,
inquire, ponder and wonder at their own pace, thus balancing their con dence and self-esteem.

 
 

Broad Exposure
All activities are designed to enable students to become inquisitive, communicative and con dent young
learners. We develop our child’s con dence in communicating ideas to others through developmentally
appropriate activities in speaking and listening and emergent reading and writing. Our centers include
Math, Science, Language, the Arts, Physical Education and Technology.

Infant Care
Infant center at Explorika has been designed for maximum comfort, security and safety. Every detail has
been meticulously planned, from the design of the infant center to the selection of equipment, toys,
curriculum and activities to the screening and training of care givers. Changing tables always face out so
that care givers never have their back to the babies. Our babies are cuddled, rocked and played carefully
by chosen care givers. Each care giver is dressed in clean, colorful scrubs. We do not allow street shoes
and every adult must sanitize their hands before entering our infant center. Your baby will have a
personal crib and cubbie where clothing, bedding, food and bottles are stored. All toys are non toxic, child
friendly and are sterilized daily and changing tables are sanitized after each diaper is changed. Play is
based on exploration, stimulation and sensory. Music plays a big part in Infant Care at Explorika.

 
Toddlers
Investigating the world around you is what it is all about when you are a toddler. It takes special, high
energy, teachers, loving care givers to keep up with toddlers.

At Explorika, our energetic, caring teachers encourage and gently guide each toddler through
exploration and discovery. Your toddler’s day will be lled with activities, music, movement, tness, toys
and equipment that encourage exploration.

Our age appropriate outdoor playground offers many opportunities for running, jumping and climbing.
Soothing music and gentle back rubs during nap time give just the right response for sleeping.

Daily Routine
Arrival, Free play, Outdoor play, Circle time, Development activities, Exploring and inquiry, story time,
Lunch,Nap time, Freshen up / Snacking, Music and Movement, Departure.

Hygiene
Modern wash areas equipped with age appropriate xtures, hot/cold water supply. Mechanical
ventilation system to remove any allergens, pollutants, moisture and ensure better air quality. Toys,
furniture are non-toxic and are sanitized daily. Air-conditioned facility with temperature control for
individual areas.

Safety
Hard/rough areas accessible to children are installed with soft cushion panels. No sharp edges, only
curved edges. Child friendly furnishing and display. Paints used across facility has Zero Volatile Organic
Compounds (Zero VOC). Only non-toxic toys used Wicket gates to protect child’s movement. Lift always
manned by attendant. Separate wash areas for children and adults. All female staff, Male entry with
authorization only. Fire Safety; fully functional smoke & heat detectors, re extinguishers and
emergency exit.

Security
Dedicated campus manned with a male and female security guard. All staff screened thoroughly,
references are veri ed and certi ed by police. Live video streaming – parents can watch child’s activity
at school.

Language Rich Environment

As children develop speaking and listening skills they are building the foundations for literacy, making
sense of visual and verbal signs which ultimately lead to reading and writing. Children engage in
interesting activities to help them learn through games, songs, role play and stories.

Integrated Curriculum
Topics of investigation are integrated across relevant subject areas and our teachers work closely
together to achieve this. Integration provides a common framework, making learning more meaningful
and connected.

We believe that play is the powerful tool for learning. Experiences with sand, water, building blocks,
dramatic play, art materials, music, outdoor play and games are integral to a child’s development. Play
activities encourage exploration and experimentation, spark curiosity and imagination, and build
children’s abilities to solve problems. In addition, play also provides children with opportunities to
experiment with language work cooperatively with others.

Assessment & Achievement

Each child’s achievement are continually assessed. Teachers use variety of assessment techniques
including testing for knowledge, skills, observations and portfolios of children’s work.

Hands-On Activities
Our teachers facilitate opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration. They create specialized
learning environments that allow the children to explore a new activity every week whether that be
with blocks or in the role play corner. This Exploration helps children to develop their ne and gross
motor skills and improve social interaction.
