SWORN STATEMENT

I, ERLINDO V. SOLIS, of legal age, Filipino, married and a

resident of Brgy. 62, Sagkahan, Tacloban City, after being sworn
according to law, hereby depose and state: THAT ---

1. I am the Barangay Chairman of Brgy. 62, Sagkahan Tacloban

City;

2. On June 20, 2018, I was personally approached by Phoebe

Obsunar purporting to be a representative of Kathleen P.
Ubas requesting for the issuance of a fencing permit for a
disputed property;

3. I refused to issue said permit due to the fact that the request
is made as an afterthought because a fence was already
constructed as early as February 2018;

4. Furthermore, it was public knowledge that the lot was owned

by Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, and not by
Kathleen P. Ubas;

5. Finally, there is a pending dispute in the City Engineer’s

Office involving illegal fencing or structure without a permit
from the barangay filed by Brgy. 62 Tacloban City versus
Kathleen Ubas, et al.
