The invisible Feed allows the track to be mounted {lush to the ceiling or wall without a canopy normally
used to mask the outlet box. No longer does track have to be positioned in accordance with existing
outlet boxes. This innovation will have aeslhetic appeal to Designers. Architects and Specifiers. lnstalla-
tion time and money will be saved for the installer. by the elimination of the need for an outlei box.

HOUSINGS AND WALL MOUNTING KITS
HOUSINGS
Lightolier Track Housing Systems are now expanded and improved.
Suspension Beam is a new alternative to the Lytestruct system. ln addition, Lytestruct has
been re-designed and re-numbered as Lytestruct ll, adding important improvements in both
installation and appearance. NOTE: Lytestruct ll lS NOT INTERCHANGEABLE WITH
LYTESTR UCT I COMPONENTS.

All Suspension Beam, Lytestruct ll and Recessed Housings now accept Advent and Basic Lytespan.
Lytespan I & ll, when used in housings, required the live end to be removed from the track. By
doing so, the overall length of a four foot individual was reduced to 44" and the eight foot indi-
vidual to 92". The joiner track had no live end and remained 96". As a result Lytestruct I hous-
ings were forced to correspond to these three lengths.
I Advent and Basic Lytespan individuals, when used with straight runs of housings retain their
live ends and their overall length remains the same. When used in housing patterns, the live
end of Basic and Advent is removed, but substituted with Electrical Auxiliary Connectors and
maintain their four and eight foot lengths (two Electrical Auxiliary Connectors are equal in
length to one live end.
