RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This chapter presents the research design, respondents of the study, instrument

current status of the subject of the study. It was used to obtain information concerning the
current status of the phenomena to describe “what exist” with respect to variables or
conditions or situations.
Survey was used in the study since it focused on the present condition on how the
District I of Nueva Ecija. The main goal of this type of research is to describe the data
and characteristics about what is being studied. The idea behind this type of research is to

attended, length of service in teaching and number of years utilizing multimedia for

Research Instruments
The researcher used the questionnaire survey as the main instrument to determine
the utilization effect of multimedia instruction in teaching the subject Asian Studies. The
questionnaire was composed of four parts. The Part one includes the questionnaire
checklist for the teacher – respondents on their profile along with the following variables;
age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, position, seminars attended, length
of service in teaching and number of years utilizing multimedia for instruction. Part two
includes level of knowledge of the teachers using multimedia in teaching Asian Studies.
Third part includes the questionnaire checklist about the available multimedia devices
used in different topics in Asian Studies. Separate questionnaire on this part will be used
