Reserve Gleacher Center

Group Study Rooms


Reserve is the meeting room manager (MRM) for Chicago Booth. This document will detail how to check
availability for Gleacher Center and Booth 455 group study rooms and schedule meetings. Additionally, it will
teach you how to cancel an existing reservation.

HOW TO LOG IN TO RESERVE:


1. Go to reserve.ChicagoBooth.edu.
2. In the Username field, type your Chicago Booth username.
3. In the Password field, type your Chicago Booth password.
4. The first time you log in you will be prompted to edit your profile. Click OK twice.

HOW TO LOG IN VIA BOOTH INTRANET:


1. Go to intranet.ChicagoBooth.edu.
2. Log in to the intranet using your CNET ID and password.
3. Click on the Reserve Study Room link on the top right.
4. Use your Booth ID and password to log in.
5. The first time you log in you will be prompted to edit your profile. Click OK.
6. On the User Details page you may change the 'Set User Default Location' to your preferred
location. (Gleacher Center, Booth 455, Harper Center, etc.)
7. Click OK.

THE DAY GRID:


The Day Grid displays the times that rooms may be reserved for a particular day. It also shows any existing
reservations for a particular room. You can view reservations at the week or month level by clicking on the
'Week' or 'Month' tabs at the top of the screen.

HOW TO CHECK AVAILABILITY FOR A GROUP STUDY ROOM:


1. Click on a date on the mini-calendar located on the left.
2. Click on Gleacher Center or Booth 455 to expand room options.
3. Click on Group Study Rooms.
4. Scroll right and left to view all rooms; scroll up and down to view time slots.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A MEETING:


1. Click on a date on the Mini-Calendar located on the left.
2. Click on Gleacher Center or Booth 455 to expand room options.
3. Click on Group Study Rooms.
4. Click a time on the Day Grid where no reservation currently exists. The Reservation Details screen will then appear.
5. Select the Start time.
6. Select the End time.
7. In the Event Title field, type a title for the event (required).
8. In the Organizer/Your Name field, type the organizer of the meeting.
9. Click on the Save & Close button.

Note:
n
For Gleacher Center group rooms, ID cards must be hung on the door of the room.
n For Booth 455 group rooms, use your ID card to unlock the door.
n You can only reserve a space for a maximum of three hours. You cannot reserve a space within
two hours of another reservation.
n Evening, Weekend, and Executive MBA students can reserve space up to 7 days in advance at
Gleacher and Booth 455. You are limited to a total of 12 hours per 7-day period.

Gleacher Center Hours: 6 a.m.–Midnight, M–F and 7 a.m.–Midnight, Sat–Sun
n
Booth 455 Hours: 7 AM - Midnight M–F and 7 AM–7 PM, Sat–Sun

HOW TO CANCEL A RESERVATION:


1. Click the Confirmation icon on the top menu bar.
2. Click on the Delete button.
3. Click on Event Title of the event you want to cancel.
4. Click on the OK button.

KNOWN ISSUE
A known issue with the Reserve meeting room manager is that some users may receive a language setting error
while trying to reserve a room when using Internet Explorer. The resolution for this is to ensure the English
(United States) [en-US] is listed first in the Language Preferences in Internet Explorer and in Firefox. In order
to get around this, please add the English US language setting at the top (Tools > Internet Options >
Languages).

To update the language settings in Internet Explorer: To update the language settings in Firefox:
1. Open Internet Explorer. 1. Open Firefox.
2. Click on the Tools menu . 2. Click on the Tools menu.
3. Click on the Internet Options link. 3. Click on the Options link.
4. Click on the Languages button. 4. Next to Languages, click on the Choose button.
5. Highlight the English (United States)[en-US] option. 5. Highlight the English/United States [en-us] option.
6. Click on the Move Up button. 6. Click on the Move Up button.
