My dear _Doctor McCormick:
As one of the neighbors of
your c:tru.rch both residentially and through
our Synagogue which is next door to your
church, and as a member of the Jewish com-
munity at large, I wish to convey to you as
pastor of The Bethlehem Presbyterian Church,
my sense of appreciation of the splendid
spirit of brotherlines s and neighborline ss
manifested by yourself and your Congregation .
It was most heartening to the
families of Congregation Adath Jesburun of
which I have the privilege to be president,
to see on their way to and from the Synagogue
the greetings of good will proclaimed from
the wall of your church on the occasion of the
Jewish New Year.
I know both from what I have
heard from others and especially from Rabbi
Klein, that this fine spirit is a reflection
of your own social mindedness and humanitarian
