Anna is extremely knowledgeable about her math subject matter. She is competent and uses her skills to link math to real world
applications, that the students can relate to. During my observations, she made sure the students understood the importance of math in
their daily lives.

Anna has done well in the areas above. During my first observation she struggled to maintain student engagement. However, she has
worked hard since then to make learning more engaging. I see a huge improvement in her classroom delivery. She is doing well now in
these areas. In addition, she was masterful at incorporating technology in her lessons and is delivering instruction well.

Anna is in a unique math classroom situation, where there are multiple teachers who come in and aid the 8th graders. She has worked
with the cooperating teacher and the other support teachers to use assessments to make instructional decisions, based on student
performance.

Anna is progressing well in the areas listed above. She has the patience and skills to understand the needs of students. During my
observation periods, she took time to work individually with students and with whole class. It was also noticed that she kept the students
on track with their behavior by reminding them of her expectations and class rules.

Anna has worked collaboratively with the teachers at her school. She has shared many of her instructional materials with other
educators at the school, who respect her and her work. Anna always is looking to improve her teaching and she takes professional
critiques very seriously. Throughout this experience, Anna's teaching has improved dramatically. She has made effective changes
based on feedback. She is on her way to becoming an effective teacher.

Anna has documented student progress with the help of her cooperating math teacher. The general math class students have been
tracked based on whether they have met their learning objectives. Anna has used the data from class tests, benchmark testing, and
other assessment data to identify the students needing additional instructional help or remediation. She has used the data effectively.
