The Use of Vaccines

Vaccines have been around humans for many centuries. This is the topic I am going to be

writing about. The reason why I chose vaccines to write about is because, the medicine has

always intrigued me. Since vaccines have been created there has been some controversy between

parents of Whether or not vaccines are safe for their young children and anyone in general. I

learned more about vaccines last year after reading an article about the medication. I was really

interested to learn that many people despised the medicine while others saw it as a need for

everyone. My question that I am going to research about is what exactly are the true benefits of

vaccines and should parents have the right to make their children avoid them. My initial opinion

growing up was that vaccines were a cure to everyone and far from harmful. I always believed

that everyone was for the use of them and that no one was affected by them in a negative way.

Last year is when I read the controversy about it and now I want to do my own research about

the medicine.

This topic really got my attention for this assignment. I am a very curious person and I

ask many questions to fully understand every situation. When I read about vaccines I felt

confused about all the controversy. Before doing my research on this topic I think it’ll be very

valuable to learn more about it. I believe that this topic is so broad, that I will be able to become

an expert on it by the end of this assignment. Something that I already know about this topic is

that vaccines are a medication that people use to prevent harmful diseases or possibly cure a

present disease.

After all of my research on my topic I hope to eventually know whether or not vaccines

are beneficial to humans or not. I want to be able to decide on my own opinion on the whole

controversy about the mandatory use of them. Some things I will need to do in order to start my

research is to ask my parents on their stand and why they believe that. I will also read about my

topic and look around on the internet for some good reliable sources. A question i’d like

answered is if the medication is actually more beneficial to young kids or harmful. Another big

question I want to know the answer to is what are the true benefits of vaccines.
