Dear reader,

Thanks for checking out this PDF I put together for you.

Here’s why this may be the most valuable thing you download
this year.

Persuasive communication is a funny thing.

On the one hand it’s very rigid.

The principles of effective communication are based on psychology or

how people think.

And people have been thinking the same way since the beginning of
time.

So because our psychology hasn’t changed for thousands of years -

and since it isn’t gonna change any time soon - if you really wanna get
good at persuading others you just have know some basic psychology.

Or so it seems.

The reality however, is that most people suck at persuasive

communication.

The average person has absolutely no clue how to speak in such a way
that others are easily persuaded by them.

There are 2 main reasons for this.

First, it’s not something you’re taught in school.

In fact, you’re taught everything BUT this stuff.

You get an education so you can get a job.

But you don't learn how to persuade the boss to hire you.

You learn a skill that you can be paid for.

But you don’t learn how to communicate that you have that skill.

You learn to be a good partner who cares for others.

But you don't learn the skills needed to persuade someone to go out
on a date with you.

You learn to become an entrepreneur so you can make a living on

your own terms.

But you don't learn how to influence the people in your market to
become customers.

Think about that for a second.

The most important education you should receive in life (the

education of effective communication) isn't taught to you.

Instead you’re left to figure that part out on our own.

And most people don’t.

The second reason has to do with variables that drastically impact

your ability persuade.

I like to think of persuasion like cooking.

Understanding basic psychology is like knowing the ingredients.

But understanding these variables I’m about to share with you is like
having the complete recipe.

Just because you know what goes in a dish doesn’t mean that you
won’t screw it up.

You can still overcook it or add too much of the wrong thing.

The same is true when it comes to persuading others.

So what I want to share with you here are the Six Persuasion Power
Levers.

They are the six variables that make all the difference in your success
when it comes to gaining compliance.

With them, your ability to persuade others increases.

Without them, it decreases.

It’s really that simple.

So let’s get started..

#1. Awareness -In order to be persuasive you need to
establish rapport with others. How in alignment are you with the
beliefs, thoughts, and values of your audience? How well do you know
their wishes, desires, and, perhaps most importantly of all, their
feelings? Listen carefully to others and ask probing questions in order
to get to the inner core of what others are seeking. Then, deliver it to
them and/or wrap up your message in the language and aesthetics
needed to connect it to your audience’s deepest emotions.

#2. Authenticity -Most people have an internal

measurement mechanism for genuineness (or a B.S. meter). They
sense whether someone has their best interests at heart or not. If they
feel for any reason that the person isn’t authentic, they immediately
“tune-out” that message. Be introspective. Do you care about your
audience? Do you really want them to be successful, perhaps even
more successful than you are? If you don’t feel secure or authentic in
what you’re offering, you may want to consider offering something
else. A product or service you believe in will make your true authentic
self shine.

#3. Authority - The way you stand and deliver your

message will give your audience a feeling for whether you know your
subject or not. Do you own the stage? Do you use words that are
powerful and stir people’s emotions? Do you have a commanding
presence? Does your voice have richness and resonance? Do you use
gestures and pauses to give your message emphasis? All these are
important factors in whether your audience perceives that you are an
authority on your subject.

#4. Aptitude - Authority is about PERCEIVED
knowledge and expertise, but aptitude is about the REAL knowledge
and expertise you have about your subject. No one knows everything
about their subject, but it’s important to work toward mastery in an
area if it’s going to be your life’s work. That means you work every day
to add expertise, credibility, and knowledge in the topics that will
make up the core of your message. When you’re truly knowledgeable
about a particular subject, it shines out like rays from the sun.

#5. Adaptive-ability - Being an effective

speaker is all about flexibility. You need to be attuned to your
audience, whether it’s one person, a small group of people, or
thousands. You’ll receive verbal feedback as well as feedback from
people’s attitudes and body movements. Your success will be
somewhat dependent on how adaptable you are to their feedback. Can
you easily and smoothly shift your presentation to be more in
alignment with your audience’s feedback?

#6. Articulative-ability - How masterful are

you at articulating your message? Do you have command over the
English language? Do you choose your words carefully? Do your
words convey action and vitality? Do you make an effort to add new,
interesting, specific words to your vocabulary? Can you adapt the
vocabulary you’re using based on the receptiveness or level of the
audience? For example, if you were giving a scientific speech, you
would prepare it differently for a group of colleagues than you would
for a mainstream, layperson audience.

Now that you understand the the power levers.

I want to introduce you to a brand new five step method for mastering
verbal persuasion.
