During November and December, the largest MEP equipment (medium-voltage and low-voltage

How would you evaluate the current
business situation in the Energoprojekt
Group and the results of the business in
2018? What are your forecasts for the
overall annual business result?
The current business situation is con-
ditioned by many factors, both external
and internal, and cannot be evaluated
solely through statistical data, but must
be analyzed through the prism of the
conditions of business in the markets.
Due to the generally known worsening
of the global political circumstances
and the conditions of business in the
markets where the Energoprojekt Group
has dominantly been present over the
years, the total volume of investments
was significantly reduced, and therefore
the potential for new contracts and
insurance of operations continuity. The
current year has been marked by various
political and economic constraints and
circumstances of a regional character in
the traditional markets of Energoprojekt
in the world. The negative effects of the
known events related to the change in
the ownership structure of Energoprojekt
are still present, especially regarding the
part of the unfinished procedures of
ownership transformation of certain sub-

sidiaries, and have sig-
nificantly influenced
the reputation of the
entire Energoprojekt
Group and business
relations, and thus
the achieved business
results in the reported
period. The forecast
and assessment is
that the Energoprojekt
Group will finish the
current year with con-
solidated operating
parameters at around
75% of the planned
level. Compared to
the planned busi-
ness parameters, good
business results in
the reporting period
have been realized by
Entel, Niskogradnja,
Industrija, Hidroinženjering and
Arhitektura, while significantly lower results
have been achieved by Visokogradnja,
Oprema and Energodata. It is very
important to emphasize that the busi-
ness focus in the current year has been
business stabilization and sustainable
development. In that respect, signifi-
cant positive developments have been
made especially in terms of reducing
the total external indebtedness of the
Energoprojekt Group.
What current projects would you
identify as the most significant ones?
All our contracted projects are impor-
tant for us and we treat all our investors
professionally respecting our contractual
obligations. Companies that fulfill their
obligations, whether designers or contrac-
tors, respect the philosophy of business
relations with investors regardless of
their core business (design/execution),
market or the project size. In this respect,
it is very difficult to distinguish certain
individual current projects.
In which areas, in your opinion, is
Energoprojekt's business well realized
and in which was realized with difficul-
ties? What are the problems that the
company faces?
Each individual company from the
Energoprojekt Group has its own specific
business, as well as the traditional or target
markets on which its business is based. In
this sense, continuous efforts are made
to fulfill the planned tasks. Generally, in
the current year, good business results
have been achieved by consulting and
design companies, while the companies
for execution have achieved significantly
lower operating results from the aspect
of revenues. The reason for this is pre-
dominantly due to the lack of work and
insufficient employment of available
capacities i.e. low trend of contracting
new construction activities in the past
period primarily abroad. The big problem
in the construction sector of Serbia is the
unfair competition that is based in its grey
zone, as well as the excessive openness or
disorder in the Serbian market. Therefore,
at this moment, the essential and most
important issue is the proper setup of
the market for the construction industry.
This primarily refers to the conditions and
criteria for the licensing of companies
within the construction sector of Serbia,
the definition of appropriate contracting
capacities and more objective criteria
for participation in pre-qualifications
and tenders.
Have any additional measures
been taken to improve the outcome of
companies that, in the previous period,
were not quite successful and had lower
contracting volume?
In line with the relevant decisions of
the competent authorities, a whole set of
extraordinary measures in the operations
of Visokoogradnja and Energodata is
continuously being implemented, with
the aim to improve the overall financial
and business situation in the aforesaid
companies. In that sense, further imple-
mentation of restructuring measures is
necessary, both in terms of organization
and staffing.
Where do you see room for further
progress and development?
The room for further development and
progress should be dominantly sought in
the permanent adjustment to the market
conditions in the country and abroad,

further development of investments, as
well as gradual entry into various forms
of concession arrangements, primarily
with large, experienced and reliable
partners with adequate solvency. In
order to ensure stable operation in all
relevant aspects, it is necessary first of all
to create a positive working environment
in order to achieve common goals. The
highest value of Energoprojekt has always
been made by quality, loyal and satisfied
personnel with professional approach
to work, dedicated to permanent and
professional development. Therefore,
due attention should be given to the
mentioned problem in the upcoming
period.
Is it possible to expect some new
important jobs in the near future?
In the following period, it may be
expected that some new significant trans-
actions of higher contractual values will
be obtained. However, what is important
for us at this moment is also that, with
appropriate changes, we gradually raise
the intensity of cooperation between
companies in the Group, while respecting
the interests of each company at the same
time. In doing so, one should also take
into account the real situation, i.e. the
available material and human resources,
as well as the appropriate financial con-
straints. The planned large infrastructure
investments that will be realized in
Serbia in the future period are a good
opportunity for greater engagement of
Energoprojekt, which should be used in
an optimal way. First of all, we are talking
about our good business relations with
almost all the companies that are the
main contractors from the countries that
have signed bilateral agreements with
Serbia (China, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey),
as well as specially defined agreements
with Western European companies, in

which focus on mutual cooperation for
the execution of projects and services
for various projects according to the
principle of design, build and finance in
Republic of Serbia, Republic of Srpska
and Montenegro is expressed.
Is increasing the volume of con-
tracting abroad planned? It has long
been talked about the return of Serbian
builders to some of the old markets.
Does Energoprojekt have plans in that
domain?
The negative trend and the apparent
stalemate in contracting new jobs abroad,
as previously explained, is a consequence
of the overall political and economic
environment in the countries and mar-
kets in which we operate. Improving the
political and economic situation in our
target markets would open up business
opportunities for Energoprojekt and
significantly increase the volume of con-
tracting abroad. At this moment it is not
realistic to expect the return of Serbian
builders to some of the old markets,
primarily due to the current business
situation in the construction sector of
Serbia, as well as many restrictions. In
accordance with marketing analyzes,
the specific performance and the plan of
Energoprojekt will be adjusted in some
markets in the coming period.
What are the plans for the next year?
In the next year, Energoprojekt's busi-
ness focus should be on stabilization and
sustainable development, economically
viable employment of resources, with
continuous increase in profitability. The
future plans of the company are primarily
related to business development in the
field of activity of the Group, securing
the contracting of new business for the
purpose of survival in the markets, as
well as the eventual opening of new
potential markets. On the whole, the
Energoprojekt's Group is predominantly
based on already contracted jobs from
the previous period, and it is noted that
there is an uneven distribution of the
remaining activities for realization by
the companies from the Energoprojekt
Group. The plan for 2019 will be higher
by more than 10% of the forecasted
operating parameters for the current year.
In accordance with the long-standing
standard practice and methodology of
planning in the Energoprojekt Group, by
the end of the current year, business plans
of all companies and the Energoprojekt
Group for 2019 will be adopted.
What would be your New Year mes-
sage to employees?
I wish all our employees, former
employees and shareholders good
health, happiness and success in 2019
and that we all together further advance
and develop our company. To that end,
together with my team of competent,
proven and ambitious associates, we
will continue to undertake appropriate
business activities in order to ensure the
stability, growth and development of our
company in very specific and complex
circumstances, all in the interest of our
shareholders and employees.

At the end of October this year,
Executive Board of Energoprojekt Holding
Plc reviewed and adopted a periodic report
on the operation of the Energoprojekt
Group for the period January - September
2018 and the business report for 2018.
In the period January - September
2018, the Energoprojekt Group gener-
ated consolidated revenue of EUR153
million, a gross profit of EUR5.5 million
and signed new contracts in the amount
of EUR 135.2 million.
It was noted that Energoprojekt's
operations in the first three quarters of
2018 were 29% less than the planned in
terms of total consolidated revenue, while
the gross profit of Energoprojekt (after
elimination of internal relations) was 44%
lower than planned. Compared to the
abovementioned operating parameters
in the same period of the previous year,
lower operating parameters were achieved.
Signing new contracts in the reported
period was at a similar level comparing to
the same period last year (45% of the total
annual plan of contracting was realized).
Good business results in the report-
ed period were realized by Entel,
Hidroinženjering and Industrija comparing
ENERGOPROJEKT NEWS
to the planned parameters of business.
In the period January-September 2018,
the following key operating parameters
of the Energoprojekt Group were realized:
• The realized consolidated income in
the reported period amounted to EUR153
million, which is 71% of the planned level.
In the structure of total revenues, the
companies in the country participated
with 58% and companies abroad with
42%. In the structure of operating income,
active jobs (contracted until December
31, 2017) prevailed by 91%, while new
jobs (contracted in 2018) accounted for
9%. The most prominent market share in
realized total income was Serbian region
with 57.5%, the Middle East region (Qatar,
UAE, Oman, Jordan) with 17.5%, the region
of Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana,
Zambia, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Guinea) with
13.8%, the region of South America (Peru)
with 8.2%, the region of Russia and Eurasia
(Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus) with 2.6%
and the rest with 0.4%.
• The realized consolidated gross
profit in the reported period amounted
to EUR5.5 million, which is 56% of the
planned level.
• In the first three quarters of 2017,
a total of 135.2 million of new projects
was contracted: in the country EUR98.8
million (73%) and abroad EUR36.4 million
(27%), which is 45% of the total annual
contracting plan.
• On the last day of the reported
period in the Energoprojekt Group
EUR352.3 million of contracted works are
to be realized (in the country EUR219.4
million, subsidiaries EUR 39.6 million and
the foreign company EUR 93.3 million).
In accordance with the legal regulations,
in the first half of November Energoprojekt
Holding's Executive Board reviewed and
approved the unaudited individual reports
on the business operations of Energoprojekt
Holding for the third quarter of 2018, and
the first nine months of 2018.
Parent company Energoprojekt
Holding Plc has made, in the first three
quarters of 2018, a total income in the
amount of RSD 1,363.4 million (EUR
11.5 million) and net profit of RSD 983.7
million (EUR 8.3 million).
On November 14, the reports in ques-
tion were published on the company's
website, the Belgrade Stock Exchange
and the Securities Commission of the
Republic of Serbia.

MAKING OF THE DRAFT AND ADOPTION OF THE
ENERGOPROJEKT BUSINESS PLAN FOR THE 2019 IS UNDER WAY
In accordance with the long-standing standard practice and
methodology of planning in the Energoprojekt Group, until
the end of this year, the process of planning and adoption of
the Energoprojekt's business plan for 2019 will be completed.
In accordance with the planned schedule, the overall
planning process is realized in two phases.
In the first phase of the planning (in November 2018) pre-
liminary business plans of all companies from the Energoprojekt
Group were made. Preliminary business plans of each company
were analyzed and discussed at the meetings of the Board of
Directors of subsidiaries, after which the mandatory planning
tasks for 2019 were defined by the responsible authorities of
Energoprojekt (document: Common parameters of the business
plan for 2019).
In the second phase of planning (in December 2018),
based on the standard procedure and previously defined and
established binding common parameters for the preparation
of a business plan, the final business plans of all companies in
the Energoprojekt Group for 2019 will be finalized.
By the end the year, the process of adopting business plans
of the companies and the business plan of the Energoprojekt
Group for 2019 (endorsed by the competent authorities of the
Energoprojekt Group) will be completed.

Energoprojekt Holding Plc informed
its shareholders that on November 30,
2018 dividends for the previous year
were paid through the Central Depository
and Securities Clearing House. The pay-
ment of the corresponding dividends
to shareholders with over 25% of the
ownership share was made directly from

Energoprojekt Holding Plc informed the
shareholders regarding the procedure and
method of dividend payment for 2017 in
a timely manner through the Company's

The payment of the dividend was
made on the basis of the Decision of the
Shareholders Assembly of Energoprojekt
Holding Plc on the distribution of undis-
tributed profit (adopted at the 48th regular
annual meeting of the Assembly held on
June 14, 2018) and the Decision of the
Executive Board Energoprojekt Holding
Plc on the procedure and method of
payment of dividends to the shareholders

Persons registered in the Central
Securities Depository (CRHOV) as legal
holders of the Company's shares as
of June 4, 2018 (Dividend Day) were
entitled to the dividend (in the gross
amount of RSD 20.00 per share).
Total gross amount of dividend for
payment to shareholders of the com-
pany amounted to RSD216,671,840.00.
The payment of the dividend was
made in the amount reduced by the
corresponding amounts of deduction
tax, which the company calculated, sus-
pended and paid to the prescribed public
revenue accounts, except for domestic
legal entities.
The payment of dividends was made
through the members of the Central
Securities, where shareholders of the
company have open proprietary securities
accounts (i.e. custody or collective), on
the cash accounts of shareholders.
The Company assumed the obligation
to pay the Central Securities, Depository
and Clearing House fee on behalf of the
dividend payment.
The Company will pay the dividend
to the non-compliant shareholders, and
after receiving the complete documen-
tation from the shareholders necessary
to change the data in the unique records
of legal holders in the Central Securities,
Depository and Clearing House and after
implementing the mentioned changes.

Maisons-Laiffette from France, on November 1, 2018 concluded
a contract with the City of Belgrade - City Administration of the
City of Belgrade, the Secretariat for Communal and Housing
Affairs, on the execution of works on the reconstruction of
Karađorđeva Street and Savski quay along Karađorđeva Street.
The deadline for realization of the project is 425 calendar
days. Reconstruction of Karađorđeva Street and Savski quay
along Karađorđeva Street is an infrastructure project worth
RSD711,967,146.38 without VAT, which will be realized in
the period from November 21, 2018 to January 20, 2020.
The reconstruction includes the traffic profile of the
street, the width of 13.5m, consisting of a traffic lane for
the public transport of passengers, the total width is 7.0m
(2x3.50m), in the middle of the road and one traffic lane in
the direction of 3.25m in width with both sides of the variable
width, which extends from Branko's bridge to Pariska Street.

VISOKOGRADNJA Plc- new business for the Syktyvkar representative office
PROJECT IN RUSSIA IN THE VALUE OF EUR 5 MILLION CONTRACTED
On November 16, Energoprojekt Visokogradnja contracted a
new job in the Russian Federation, namely execution of works on
the upgrading of the hospital-radiology department in Syktyvkar.
The facility consists of one building, Po + 6 type floors, of 5.000 m2
and the project implies the execution of construction and assembly,
finishing and installation works (without medical equipment). The
contract was signed with the investor of the GKU Komi Republic
Služba jedinog investitora Republike Komi (state investment). The
deadline for the completion of the works is 18 months, and the
NISKOGRADNJA Plc - on the South American market
TWO PROJECTS CONTRACTED IN PERU
Energoprojekt Niskogradnja has contracted two projects
in Peru with a total value of EUR 13.3 million, of which EUR 9.3
million relates to Niskogradnja Plc.
In the consortium with the company VIVIANA from Peru,
Energoprojekt Niskogradnja signed a Contract for Rehabilitation
of concrete canals Via Cieneguilla and Cola de Alacran with the
Peruvian municipality of Sullana. The value of the contract amounts
to EUR 4.39 million, and our PLC received EUR 3.07 million. The
URBANIZAM I ARHITEKTURA Plc - a new project in Kazakhstan
RECONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE UNIVERSITY
COMPLEX NARHOZIN ALMATY
The final activities are under way before the project of the
Narhoz University complex in the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan
is contracted. The project will include the reconstruction and
rehabilitation of the existing facility, as well as the upgrading of
the new central corpus of the main university facility. Investor
is Narhoz University with Verni Capital for which Energoprojekt
has executed two major projects in Kazakhstan.
The existing facility which will be reconstructed has an area
of approximately 23,000 m2, while the newly designed central
block should have about 8,000 m2. The external arrangement
is also the subject of the project, and it is on the surface of
about 19,000 m2.
The author of the Preliminary solution of the project is
the architectural bureau HMA2 from New York, while the
development of the project, the production of technical
documentation of all professions and the implementation
of the project through the local procedure will be realized in
cooperation between Energoprojekt Urbanizam i Arhitektura
and Energoprojekt Visokogradnja.

Syktyvkar representative office has been successfully implement-
ing projects in the Russian Federation for many years. The blocks
of residential buildings, as well as the Administrative building of
Gazprom Transgaz Uhta, were completed at the end of last year for
the extremely important Investor Gazprom Transgaz Uhta ltd. with a
value of the realized contract of about USD50 million. Energoprojekt
Visokogradnja is also on the list of approved contractors for Gazprom.

With the Ministry of Agriculture of Peru, the contract for the
implementation of the project Irrigation system San Antonio,
Huarango, Jaen, Peru, was signed in a consortium with the com-
pany CCEQO from Peru. The value of the contract amounts to EUR
8.93 million, and the value of the works related to Energoprojekt
Niskogradnja amounts to EUR 6.25 million. The deadline for the
realization of the contract is 360 calendar days.
During the pre-requisition phase, two series of intensive
meetings were organized on which Energoprojekt team gained
the trust of investors and authors. The first meetings took place
in Belgrade in October, while the second series of meetings was
held in Almaty in December, when a tour of the existing facility
was organized as well as a meeting with the entire university team.
Our designers will have to successfully confirm their capac-
ities once again through the challenges of reconstruction and
rehabilitation of existing facilities, monitoring of modern trends
in the field and international cooperation that will connect
the three continents.

On the basis of successful interactive cooperation and pro-
fessional work of the design team during the preparation of the

and upgrading of Terminal facilities, as well as all the necessary
technical accompanying contents at Airport Nikola Tesla, the
future concessionaire Vinci Constructions decided to continue
cooperation with Energoprojekt Industrija by signing a new
contract for the development of technical documentation of
the Preliminary Design for the reconstruction and upgrading
of Terminal facilities and all the necessary accompanying
technical facilities. Deadline for completion of this contract is
December 25, 2018.

The subject of the works is the construction of a part of the
northeastern part of the bypass motorway around Zrenjanin

CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
TPP KOLUBARA B OF 350 MW
In mid-October this year, Energoprojekt
Entel, in the consortium with the Swiss
company AF-Consult, on behalf of the
Group of bidders, concluded a contract
on the provision of consulting services
for the continuation of the construction
of TPP Kolubara B of 350 MW, with the PE
Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). In realization
of this very complex service the Mining
Institute Belgrade, Faculty of Mechanical
Engineering and Faculty of Civil Engineering,
University of Belgrade, Energoprojekt
Hidroinzenjering, Technical Center - INSPEKT
- Obrenovac and Geoing group participate
as subcontractors. Entel Plc, as the Leader
of the consortium, assumed the role of
organizer, coordinator, planer and project
manager. In addition to this demanding
role, Entel participates significantly in all
stages of providing consulting services, and
in particular as the leader of the design
of all levels of project documentation
for deciding on the completion of the
construction of this facility.
The realization of the project is managed
by Zoran Mićević, PhD and Miodrag Životić,
PhD, who invest great knowledge, expe-
rience and energy to direct this complex
project towards meeting the set goals.
TPP Kolubara B and mine Tamnava -
Zapadno polje represented the largest
investment projects of Elektroprivreda
Srbije in the early eighties. TPP was orig-
inally planned as a thermal power plant
with two units with recirculation cooling,
power of 2 x 350 MW of electricity, as well
as production of thermal energy with total
power of 760.380 MJ/s for the needs of
district heating in Belgrade. The basic fuel
was planned to be lignite from the open
mine of the Tamnava - Zapadno polje. The
decision for construcion was made in 1984.
Due to the lack of funds and sanctions, the
construction was suspended in 1992, and
the decision to continue construction was
made in 1996. Despite the intention of the
investor to continue the construction of
the TPP, the project did not go through.
In the period from 2007 to date, several
renowned companies from the world
have assessed the completeness and
condition of the delivered equipment, the
possibilities for its further use, as well as
the assessment of the necessary funds for
the completion of the construction of the

thermal power plant Kolubara B, with the
planned use of the available equipment
and executed works to the extent that it
was justified.
Due to all of the above, EPS has decided
to contract comprehensive consulting
and design services for the completion of
the construction of TPP Kolubara B with
one condensation unit of about 350 MW.
The objective of the subject service is
to examine and present all the necessary
data and facts on the achieved level of
realization of the construction, to define
all the necessary works and assessments
of the financial resources, to obtain condi-
tions, permits and approvals, as well as to
develop the necessary investment-technical
documentation in order to complete the
construction of TPP Kolubara B of about 350
MW. On the basis of everything that was
done, an investment decision will be made
for the completion of the construction of
this facility with the initiation of starting
contracting procedure or making a deci-
sion on the final status of TPP Kolubara B.
The consulting services covered by this
contract include several stages:
- Previous works;
- Preparation of technical-economic
documentation (Technical-economic analyz-
es of variant solutions, Preliminary Solution,
Preliminary Design and Feasibility Study)
and Environmental Impact Assessment
Study;
- Preparation of technical specifications
for the procurement of missing equipment
and works;
- Permitting (obtaining conditions,
permits and consents).
The Phase Previous works consist of a
large number of very important activities
that can, according to their importance and
purposes, be classified into three groups:
A) Defining the initial design parameters
for the TPP Kolubara B, including: analysis
of the raw material base and defining the
parameters of the new designated coal,
analysis of the possibility of supplying raw
water, defining environmental conditions
from the aspect of valid domestic and EU
regulations, defining the relevant legisla-
tion for design, defining the requirements
for the energy efficiency of the unit and
defining the requirements for the tech-
nical characteristics of the generator
and transformer in terms of fulfilling the
requirements of the transmission system
operation.
B) A review of the state of construc-
tion, which includes the review and
systematization of the documents that
have been prepared so far, the examina-
tion and condition of the delivered boiler
plant equipment, the development of
the necessary calculations of the boiler
plant with new coal and the application
of primary and secondary measures for
the reduction of nitrogen oxide emissions,
(state of concrete and steel structures)

to status and ecological requirements.
The results of all the above analyzes
are the basis for the development of
design-technical documentation, assess-
ment of the justification of the completion
of construction, as well as the conformity
of the planned technical solutions with
environmental conditions, which are
considered a serious obstacle for the
realization of coal-fired electricity projects.

January 2019. Currently, about 150 people
from Oprema and subcontractors have
been hired on the facility for MEP works.
We expect this number to increase after
completing the construction and closing
the facility, which will enable the begin-
ning of craft works and the installation
of MEP equipment such as lamps, distri-
bution elements, fire detectors etc.’- says
colleague Mitrović.
Due to the specific technology of
work that was frequently changed dur-
ing the performance, it was imperative
to achieve maximum cooperation with
the contractor for the construction works
due to the coordination of the works and
adapting to the changed dynamics and
the order of the phase execution of MEP
works. The client is very satisfied with the
way our PLC works in these very difficult
conditions and with variable dynamics.

COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF SOUBELLA IN ALGERIA
Cooperation in the design and exe-
cution of hydraulic facilities between the
National Agency of Dams and Transfers
(ANBT) from Algeria and Energoprojekt
Hidroinženjering has been going on
since the 1960s. The last successful pro-
ject was Ourkis Dam. On this project,
Hidroinženjering Plc was engaged in
the preparation of the execution docu-
mentation (drawings and calculations),
on the supervision of the execution of
works and on the preparation of the final
documentation. After successfully com-
pleting Ourikis Dam in 2012, ANBT has
once again recognized a reliable partner
in Hidroinženjering and has awarded it
four new projects, dams Seklafa, Beni
Slimane, Soubella and Keddara. On all
projects, Hidroinženjering Plc has the
obligation to design the drawings for
execution, the final documentation, and
with occasional visits to the site direct
all the activities on the project. On the
projects of Seklafa, Beni Slimane and
Soubella, Hidroinženjering also provided
supervision over the execution of the
facility, while the local partner CTH is
supervising the works on the project of
Dam and accumulation
Keddara. By taking over these four great
projects, Energoprojekt Hidroinzenjering
has shown that it has the capacity to carry
out four projects of dams in addition to
regular jobs in the country and abroad and
to organize supervision of the execution
of the three dams in Algeria.
The Soubella dam contract was signed
at the end of April 2012. The value of
contracted works under the basic con-
tract amounts to EUR 2.303.262,72 and
61.344.652,05 Algerian dinar, which is
EUR 2,916,709.24 for the exchange rate
of 1 euro = 100 Algerian dinar. The main
contract expired on February 25th, 2016,
since then six Annex of the contract have

been signed with the extension of the
deadline due to the delay of the contractor,
so the total contract value of the contract
is EUR 3,107,768.52 and 79,298,616.38
Algerian dinar, or EUR 3,900.754,68. The
value of the Contract is expected to be
increased by at least EUR 100,000.00 with
the Final Annex.
The accumulation of Soubella is
intended for water supply of seven
municipalities downstream from the
dam, which should deliver 0,11  m3/s
throughout the year. The cofferdam of
67 m in height (KKB = 785 m.a.s.l.), and
245 m in length, was made with a central
clay core of 5 m in width and 38 m in
foundation. The filling of the dam, that
is, the filling of the cofferdam, began at
the end of October 2015 immediately
after the completion of the gallery and
the turning of the river. The filling of the
main dam was completed in August 2017.
232,991.00  m3 of clay, 59.655,00  m3 of
filter material, 25.775,00 m3 of drainage
material and 567.782,00 m3 of support-
ing body upstream and 394.219,00  m3
of supporting body downstream were
installed in the dam.
Dam and command building
On the left side of the dam there is
free spillway with riverbed (smooth and
stepped part) and USBR III type water-
fall, which ensures the evacuation of
the flow of a retrograde flood wave - a
tenth thousand-year-old large water of
418 m3/s. For its construction excavation
was carried out mainly in a rock of about
300 000 m3 and about 25 000 m3 of built
in concrete.
The river diversion was made through
a diversion tunnel (diversion gallery) of a
total length of 423.21 m, located in the right
side of the river valley. In the final stage of
exploitation, the diversion gallery, or the
lower chamber of the gallery downstream
of the shaft, is transformed into a basic
outlet equipped with a removable and
regulating closure. The gates are sliding
type in the downstream housing. When
the gates are fully open, the maximum
flow through the base discharge during
discharge of the accumulation is 28 m3/s
to 30 m3/s.
In addition, the excavation of a water-
proof shaft with a diameter of 10.0 m and
a depth of 53.0  m with 3 water intake
structure galleries on the levels of 770, 760
and 745 m above sea level. The diameter
of the light opening of the shaft is 8.40 m.

On the Soubella Dan Project,
Hidroinženjering Plc was obliged to do the
Execution Project, to supervise the works
and to direct the project by visits of the
experts. The first visit to the construction
site of the Soubella dam was made in July
2012, when complete documentation from
the previous design phases was taken.
Already at the end of September, the
first execution excavation projects were
delivered to the construction site, which
created the conditions for starting work
on the dam. Since then, in accordance
with the progress of the works on the
dam, the contracting projects for the dam
and accompanying facilities have been
delivered in due time. The contractor at
all times had design execution drawings
for each position he intended to do. It
should be emphasized that the modifi-
cation of the design solution compared

to the main project, saved the cost of the
works by about 3 million euros.
At the beginning of September 2012,
the first members of the surveillance team
came to the construction site: the head of
the surveillance team Srđan Vujadinović,
engineer topographer Predrag Čarapić and
translator Bojan Đorđević. Since then, in
parallel with the progress of the works,
responsible supervisors come for each
new position. The surveillance team was
complete in early 2014 and from then
until the beginning of 2018 it consisted
of six to seven engineers and translators.
In parallel with the finishing of works for
certain positions, the engagement of
engineers in supervision also finished. In
the second half of 2018, the supervision
team on the site consisted of: Jovan Zarić,
Head of the Supervision team (form 2014),
engineer topographer Predrag Čarapić,
concrete engineer Negovan Čolović,
Electrical engineer Anes Hadžiberović
and translator Andreja Torlaković. Their
engagement will end at the end of 2018,
when completion of works on the dam is
expected. In addition to the mentioned

At the recently finished WETEX Fair in Dubai specialists
from Great Britain initiated contact with us about the technical
level and success of this research and development project.
These experts who develop anti-explosive constructions using
dura-steel panels have admired the fact that the Entel team
managed to design and execute an anti-explosive structure
while preserving the natural ventilation of the transformer.
NISKOGRADNJA Plc - working on the project in the country
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT SECTION 4 UB-LAJKOVAC

Considering the fact that Dubai is intensively being
built, which has an impact on the increase in the number of
new substations, there is a strong demand for optimization
of the space available for infrastructure construction. A
large number of substations are under construction or are
designed with transformers oriented toward the substation
environment, which are mostly roads, parking spaces or
pedestrian zones. Bearing all this in mind, it can be expected
that DEWA and other substations will apply the innovative
solution of Energoprojekt Entel to reduce the risk both from
the aspect of existing facilities and on those that are to be
built. Entel's team impatiently awaits the continuation of
this interesting venture.
Construction of Section 4 Ub-Lajkovac
from 40 + 645.28 to 53 + 139.91 in length
of 12.49 km began in July 2010 and was
completed in November 2014 and was
not released for traffic, since the pre-
vious and next sections are still under
construction. By visual inspections and
field observations, numerous road defects
were identified, in the form of longitu-
dinal open cracks, deformations on the
slopes, bumps on the loading ramps in
front and behind the bridges, as well as
failure to maintain the drainage system.
The project for removing defects in the
warranty period, which was done by the
CIP Traffic Institute, foresees rehabilita-
tion on a total of 13 locations, the total
length of 2.485 km. The project envisages
works on the positions of dismantling
existing road equipment, removal of
existing pavement construction, layers
of embankments and drainage systems,
i.e. replacement works.
The contract between the Chinese
company Shandong, as the Main con-
tractor, and our company Energoprojekt
Niskogradnja, as a subcontractor, was
signed on September 24, 2018. The
deadline for completion of the works
is December 25, 2018, and the value of
the works envisaged is USD8,142,115.29
without VAT.
Works began in the late construc-
tion season and were performed in
very difficult weather conditions.
Niskogradnja Plc works in two shifts
and maximum efforts are being made
to finish the contracted works as soon
as possible. Considering that during
the performance the situation was
significantly worse than planned, it is
expected that the value of the works
will be increased.

SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED PROJECT FOR A FOREIGN PARTNER
At the end of November 2016, Energoprojekt Industrija
contracted designing services with the American company
CB & I (headquarters for Europe, Brno, Czech Republic), project
validation and obtaining permits from the competent authorities
for the construction of Deep Oil Processing Facilities - Deferred
Coking Plant within the Refinery oil Pančevo. The End user is
the Petroleum Industry of Serbia.
The facility for deferred coking (S-5300, DCU) with the
application of thermal cracking technology, heavy oil residues
translates into light gaseous and liquid products and pure coke
(green coke). The coke of the appropriate size is transferred by
conveyor belt to the coke transportation system (S-5600, CHS).
Coke is transported to closed conveyors by closed steel silos.
In addition to these two new main facilities, the project
documentation also includes the following newly-reconstructed
supporting facilities for the needs of DCU:
- Cooling system expansion (S-9150);
- Electricity supply system (S-25200A, new substation);
- Interconnecting facilities (S-23000A);
- Storage tanks (S-2350);
- Pumping stations (S-2360);
- Sewage acid waste water treatment plant IV (S-5900),
within which the Compact device for the removal of phe-
nol-cyanide (A-5901).
- Amine III Regeneration Plant (S5950).
Energoprojekt Industrija has been entrusted with the
validation of all projects developed by CB & I as a technology
carrier, the calculation of all static calculations for concrete and
steel constructions within the plant, the development of all
projects of auxiliary facilities within the plant, checking and
certification of pipeline projects within the plant and assistance
during the obtaining of permits process from the competent
institutions. The contract includes the Building Permit Design,
Design for execution and As-built Design.
In compliance with the contractual obligations, the proce-
dure for validation of the Design for execution was completed
on October 31, 2018 and the entire documentation at the
Design for execution (DFE) level was completed in electronic
and paper form and was submitted to the Investor.
All documentation in electronic form was posted on iDoc
on October 31, 2018 and the remaining obligation of Industrija
Plc is the design of As-built Design documentation.

HIDROINŽENJERING - good cooperation with EPS
PROJECT OF RECONSTRUCTION OF PRODUCTION AGGREGATES
AND RELATED EQUIPMENT ON HYDRO POWER PLANTS POTPEĆ
Potpeć hydroelectric power plant
belongs to the system of Lim hydro
power plants. It is located on the river
Lim (right tributary of the Drina River)
at the village of Kalafati on the right
bank, about 5 km upstream from Priboj.
The installed power of this hydroelectric
power plant is 3x20 MVA, and the average
annual production is 210  GWh, which
makes up 10% of the technically usable
potential of Lim river.
The system of facilities consists of: a
gravity concrete dam, an overflow with
segmental structures, basic drains, power
plants and distribution facilities of 110 kV
and 35 kV voltage. The construction of HPP
Potpecć started in 1964 and was com-
pleted in 1967 when the first filling of the
reservoir was completed. Commissioning
was carried out from 1967 to 1970.
During 2009, Energoprojekt
Hidroinženjering Plc made a Study of
modernization and possibilities for increas-
ing the power and production of Lim hydro
power plants - Book I: HPP Potpeć. The same
year, the Study was revised and adopted
at the session of the Expert Council of EPS.
On this occasion it was recommended to
the management structures that, through
the separate project documentation, they
first plan the construction of the additional
fourth aggregate and adaptation of the
35 kV distribution system and then the
reconstruction of the HPP Potpeć.
On the basis of the mentioned Study
and Conclusions of the Expert Council of
EPS, Energoprojekt Hidroinženjering, in
late 2011, developed the Feasibility Study

and Preliminary Design for Reconstruction
of Production Aggregates and Related
Equipment of HPP Potpeć, which was
adopted at the EPS Expert Council in 2012.
The Feasibility Study and the Preliminary
Design of Reconstruction were innovated
in 2013 due to the need for harmonization
with the technical solutions of the projects
for the construction of the additional
fourth aggregate and the adaptation of
the 35 kV distribution system.
The goal of reconstructing hydro-me-
chanical, mechanical and electrical equip-
ment is to extend the life of equipment, and
hence hydroelectric power plants, as well
as to provide reliable electricity supply in
the future in the most economically and
environmentally acceptable conditions,
and will include the following: increase
in availability and reliability of aggre-
gates; increase in power and production;

In July 2018, Energoprojekt
Hidroinženjering signed a contract
with PE Elektroprivreda Srbije for
the actualization of the Preliminary
Design for Reconstruction of Production
Aggregates and associated equipment
of HPP Potpeć and the design of tender
documentation for the procurement of
equipment. Preparation of project and
tender documentation is in progress and
according to the contractual deadline
will be realized by January 11th, 2019,
after which the audit and adoption by
the Expert body of the EPS will follow.
The realization of the project and tender
documentation that is the subject of
this contract creates opportunities for
accessing the following activities related to
the submission of the application for the
approval for the execution of works and the
announcement of the Public Procurement.
Energoprojekt Hidroinženjering will also
provide consulting services to EPS during
the procurement procedure until the
moment when the decision on awarding
the contract to the future contractor
of the reconstruction of HPP Potpeć is
coming into force.

ON NIKOLA TESLA AIRPORT
In the period from August to November 2018, Energoprojekt
Urbanizam i Arhitektura together with a group of bidders, success-
fully carried out the tasks related to the preparation of technical
documentation and the execution of works on reinforcement of
the floor slab of the ground floor of Terminal 2 of the Nikola Tesla
Airport in Belgrade, for the needs of procurement of a new X-ray
device with its weight exceeds projected loads. The designers of
this company were engaged in the preparation of the technical
documentation of the Conceptual Design Project, Design for
Execution and As-built Design on the reinforcement of the floor
slab, and the Main Contractor is RAS Engineering Niskogradnja Ltd.
The main and responsible designer is Jasminka Božinović, BSci
Eng and manager in Energoprojekt Urbanizam i Arhitektura. Given
the complex technological processes, short deadlines and the
need to avoid regular operation of the airport during works, the
project envisages unloading the existing structure and acceptance
of the increased turnover with a new steel structure made of lattice
supports, formed in the space of existing suspended ceilings.

them to assist domestic science and pro-

TRANSITIONAL SUPERVISION CHECK OF QMS AND INTRODUCTION
AND CERTIFICATION OF EMS AND OHSAS SUCCESSFULLY FINISHED
In the past year, Energoprojekt Urbanizam i Arhitektura has
undertaken a series of activities to finalize the process of har-
monization of the Quality Management System (QMS) with the
requirements of the new version of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard
(SRPS ISO 9001: 2015), as well as additional harmonization of
QMS with the implementation of an integrated management
system, carried out on July 2, 2018. With the Quality Management
System, the Environmental Management System (EMS) has
been established - according to ISO 14001: 2015 (SRPS ISO
14001: 2005), as well as the Occupational Health and Safety
Management System - according to OHSAS 18001: 2007 (SRPS
OHSAS 18001 : 2008).
This process, which involved proper training, documenta-
tion preparation and system customization, was successfully
completed by the QMS Transition Supervision - August 21, and
the certification of EMS and OHSAS - on November 26, 2018, by
renowned company SGS Belgrade, members of SGS Group - the
world's largest company for verification, testing and certification.

25-26, the Scientific Advisory of the Serbian
Society for Hydraulic Research and the
Hydrology Society of Serbia was held in

have been held since 1954, and during

and professional public is introduced to
the current problems and achievements
in the field of hydraulics and hydrology.

In the paper Calculation of the strong
flow in a tunnel with a horizontal circular
curve, the group of authors Milena Lučić,
PhD from Hidroinženjering Plc, R. Kapor
and Professor Ljubomir Savić, a turbulent
flow with a free surface was considered

calculation of the line level critically
examined. During design, local curvature
losses were estimated based on losses of
pressure flow and intuition of designers,
and now these losses are compared
with losses determined on the basis of
extensive research carried out within
the doctoral dissertation. It turned out
that ‘real’ losses are somewhat smaller
than the pessimistic estimator of the
designer, so it can be expected that the
tunnel capacity of the tunnel is sufficient
to accommodate computational flow.
A study on water resources management
in the river basin of Cheliff (Algeria) is a paper
that presents the results of the selected
part of the study, which is being finalized
by Energoprojekt Hidroinženjering, which
covers the entire region of Northern
Algeria. In this area there are over 100
dams and water intakes in exploitation
and construction. The river Cheliff is the
largest watercourse in Algeria, over 730
km long. The entire system, which consists
of 21 dams and 2 water basins on this
river and its tributaries, was set up in
the software environment Hec-ResSim,
where flow simulations and balancing
were performed for each of the four
scenarios presented in this work. These
scenarios encompass the impacts of dif-
ferent factors on providing water supply
to system users, such as the effects of
filling accumulations, introducing strict
discharge management rules, and intro-
ducing new facilities into the system. The
aim of this paper was to demonstrate the
necessity of monitoring system operation
as well as constant controlled manage-
ment of the system in order to maximize
the availability of water resources. The
authors of the paper are our colleagues
from Hidroinženjering, Jovan Anđelicć,
who presented the paper at the Session
as well as Miloš Ivetić.
Finally, it should be noted that the 18th
Scientific Session of the Serbian Society
for Hydraulic Research and the Hydrology
Society of Serbia left a strong impression
of a good organization of events at a
high level, and the organizational team
made an effort so all the participants feel
comfortable and take new knowledge
and experiences with them.

SIMBIOSIS OF TRADITIONAL AND MODERN LIFE
Oman is a state in the Middle East
located in the southeast of the Arabian
Peninsula. According to the state arrange-
ment, Oman is a monarchy, headed by
Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said since 1970.
Today Oman's appearance owes much to
Sultan Qaboos, who came to power and
brought the modernization of the country
by implementing a series of reforms in
the fields of education, infrastructure
and economy.
The capital of Oman is Muscat. It stretch-
es along the coast of the Oman Gulf, and
in the hinterland there is a picturesque
mountain Al Hajar. At first glance, life in
Muscat can seem slow paced and even,
but when you get to know it a bit, you
will see that Muscat has much to offer.
Traditional Omani feast
Rarely anywhere in the Middle East, there
is exceptional tolerance towards other
peoples and cultures in Oman, which
is reflected both in everyday life and in
the business environment. The reason
for this can be found in Oman tradition,
education and religion. The official religion
in Oman is Islam, and most of them are
Ibadi Muslims. The story of the emergence
of this current Islam is very interesting.
Thirty years after the death of the
Prophet Muhammad, two currents in
Islam emerged, Shias and Sunnis. While
the conflict broke out, the political and
religious elite that ruled Oman at that
time decided not to take sides, believing
that it is the only right thing to keep to
the original Qur'an that opposes any kind
of violence. The leader of this movement
was Ibn Ibadh, who was named after his
followers. Today, except in Oman, the Ibadi
Muslims are mostly in Zanzibar, which has
long been an Oman colony, and much of
the present-day Omani people draw their
roots right from this island.

As was then, as is now, Oman has
maintained a policy of neutrality and
tolerance, maintaining good neighborly
relations with all the surrounding states.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why
Oman is one of the safest countries, not
only in the Middle East, but also in the

traditional societies where family roles
are well defined, although the role
of women is slowly changing. Today,
women in Oman have the right to vote,
are educated, occupy high positions in
government and other state institutions

of Ramadan, there are no strict rules that
prescribe a style or a way of dressing.
It is left to every individual to evaluate
and decide on what is appropriate for a
given situation. Perhaps this is why even
foreigners take care to dress appropriately.
The official language in Oman is Arabic.
However, due to the large number of
expatriates, English is also used in parallel
with Arabic. According to some data, even
a third of the Oman population is expa-
triates. Mostly Indian, Pakistani, Filipino,
English, Italians. There is also a smaller
Serbian community that, according to
some unofficial information, has about
300 people. They are mostly settled in
Muscat, although there are also some
who live in other major cities such as
Salalah or Nizwa.
For centuries, Oman has been a naval
force in this part of the world due to its
favorable geographical location. It is
located at the intersection of the roads,
and it is not surprising that the traditional
Omani people are good traders. This can
be best seen at the Muttrah, the oldest
part of the Muscat. There you can find
everything from souvenirs, clothing, sash,
pashminas, to incense, for which Oman is
famous. Especially famous is the incense
from Salalah, on the south of Oman, which
is also known for its Khareef, a kind of
monsoon. During the summer months,
July and August, during the monsoon,
due to the favorable climate, the hills
surrounding Salalah are green, which is
a very beautiful sight, given that Oman
is predominantly desert land. Different
plant crops, especially the well-known
dates, grow in this area.
Oman is a country with still undis-
covered tourism potential, which should
certainly be used. It is noticeable that
more and more efforts are being made
to attract as many foreign tourists as
possible. In the last few years several
hotel complexes have been opened or

the demands of tourists from Western
European countries. Of course, there is a
long way for Oman to go, but awareness
of the importance of tourism, as well
as opening up to the world, is certainly

the capital Acra, Minister of Youth and Sports had a bilat-

Olympic Committee of Ghana, members of the Parliamentary

CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL DAY OF OMAN
On November 18, the National Day of Oman was celebrated
as the 48th anniversary of the day the Oman ruler Sultan Qaboos
bin Said Al Said ascended the throne. This period of nearly half
a century has been marked by the transformation of Oman
from a country torn by tribal wars to a highly developed and
highly organized state.
The celebration was also made in Entel's company that has
been successfully operating in this country for two decades. On
the National Day, a short ceremony was held in the premises

ACHIEVE GOOD HEALTH AND HIGH SPIRIT BY PLAYING SPORTS
For four years now, Energoprojekt employees have had
the opportunity to use the sports center in the Energoprojekt
building, where Nikola Ceković, professional trainer, assists
them in the process of exercise. Exercises are held on work
days from 3:30 to 8 pm.
The gym is well-ecquipped with Total gym 1000 pull-ups
simulator, Roman bench, room bike, punching bag, table
tennis, elastic exercise tape, steps, Pilates balls, medical balls,
jumping rope, balance boards, Pilates hoops, hand and legs
weights and, of course, gymnastic mats in the fitness room.
Group programs, held every work day between 4 and 6 PM,
are functional in characterand aim at developing all motor skills
with emphasis on the development of mobility of all joints,
muscle activity of the whole body and flexibility. The training
program is of medium intensity, high volume and short breaks,
and the exercises that are performed are not complicated or
with heavy loads, so everyone can do them.
In addition to group training, there are also individual train-
ings. In relation to the individual goal of a trainee, the trainer
initially designs and gives to the each trainee an appropriate
program and instructions for the intensity, workload, type
of exercise, correct execution and the length of the breaks.
The most common requirements are the development of the
cardiovascular system, weight regulation, muscle shaping and
body tightening.
So far, about 200 of our employees have exercised at the
center, while there are around 40 regular trainees. Colleagues
who want to start training can contact the instructor Nikola

‘INTERNATIONAL’ TOURNAMENT IN TABLE TENNIS

The Sports Hall Ranko Žeravica in New
Belgrade, on December 11-12 hosted
the eighth jubilee Entel Tournament
in table tennis. 38 men, 21 ladies and
one referee applied for the qualification
in record time, and due to illness and
business activities, 27 men, 15 ladies and
one referee took part in the tournament.
Our colleague Predrag Stevanović was
as always in charge of organization and
good atmosphere. The Executive Board
of the Entel Trade Union sponsored
lease of sports hall, awards for the win-
ners and flasks for debutants, and the
Directory sponsored refreshing drinks
for competitors.
The new tournament participants
have traditionally received a flask for
refreshing beverage, with tournament
labels, disciplines and their image and
name, in order to be equal with the
participants of previous tournaments.
The men's qualifications were played by
groups of three competitors, each with
each one reciprocally, and according to
the system, each won match brings one
point, and the point-difference further
determines the placement among the
players who did not have a reciprocal
match. All final competitions were played
by cup competition systems rules, and
colleague Dušan Marinković accepted
the role of the main referee in the final
competitions for the ladies.
The order at the top of the men’s
singles significantly deviated from the
usual, and it looked like this: Milutin
Vulevicć, Zlatko Rakić, Jovan Vukovljak
and Ognjen Cupać. In men’s couples
the order is: Milutin Vulević and Milan
Kovačevicć, Dragomir Marković and
Ognjen Cupać, Nikola Miletić and Vladimir
Lojanica, Zlatko Rakić and Milan Mandić.
In the ladies finals, a new champi-
on emerged, and we also had a guest
from France, so this year's tournament
became international. The singles place-
ment was: Ivana Berisavljević, Marija
Savić, Svetlana Kovačević and Nevena
Anđelić - as a ‘rising talent’. In the ladies’
couples the order was as follows: Ivana
Berisavljević and Marjorie Brue (guest
from France), Nevena Anđelić and Milica
Ginev, Svetlana Kovašević and Mirjana
Đorđević, Dijana Sredić and Nikolina
Janković.
Seven ladies and finalists, who were
lucky, participated in the exhibitions
of mixed couples where the top order
was as follows: Svetlana Kovačević and
Vladimir Lojanica, Marjorie Brue and

This year's tournament had great

At the moment, at the Energoprojekt
Gallery there is an exhibition of the drawings
of the Energoprojekt’s youngest - children
of our employees. The theme of the exhibi-

the New Year's celebration for the children
