Imagery at 3 August 2018, with Altitude 30 meter using DJI Phantom 3 Pro
Research & Development DepartmentWeekly Report

Note : Moko Diseases Identification is difficult to see it, because :

1. Identification of Moko attack in banana plant not specific showing
2. Plant with Moko attack also showing in healthy plant in visual imagery
3. Visual imagery plant with Moko attack with aerial image from altitude 30 meter, 12 MP (2.1
cm/pixel) camera resolution can’t identification.

Suggest :
Need to continued identification Moko attack with aerial image with :
a) Moko attack in banana plant in every stage of age plant
b) Using drone with minimum image resolution 50% from 2.1 cm/pixel.

B. Findthe best result of Raster Image for counting population in Artificial Intelligence Project, at
sucker seed plant.
1. Photo with Phantom 3 pro & Phantom 4 pro drone with pix4D app for android, not suitable
because the result look small and not detail with fly height 50m, and must fly low (20 - 25 m
above ground) for better result but difficult to processing raster.

2. Photo with Inspire 2 drone (industrial drone) with pix4D app for android and fly height 70m,
not suitable because the image is not clearly and darker photo.

3. Photowith Inspire 2 drone (industrial drone) with Precision Flight app for android, fly height
70m and try some camera setting, not suitable because has a not clearly photo and darker
photo.

4. Photo with Inspire 2 drone (industrial drone) with pix4D app for iOS/Apple, suitable, with
setting : high = 70 meter above ground, overlap 90%, speed 4,4 m/s.

Research & Development DepartmentWeekly Report

Aerial photo data can be use to secondary channel maintenance design plan at location
067B, the analyst can be tested because the data used is based on coordinates and elevation
values taken by Geodetic GPS. The elevation value is generated by DSM data so that it can
know the height difference in that location, water logging data can determine the potential of
inundation so that it can determine the number and tertiary channel points in the location and
water direction data can provide information on flow direction and the amount of water flow
determine secondary channel points.
There are the result of geostatistic mapping in pH H 2O, pH KCl, Potassium and

G. Land Rehabilitation
Compost is an organic fertilizer product from manure and other waste. Base on research
experiments show that the compost application can improves soil structure, soil water holding
capacity, and consequently improved crop growth and yield. Base on this result need enlarge
trial at production scale.
Result :
1. Application of organic fertilizer requery a very high cost up to Rp. 17.000.000 / Ha
2. Application of organic fertilizer up to 50 Ton, has a better vegetative growth compared with
no application of organic fertilizer
3. Application of organic fertilizer up to 50 Ton, has C-Organic soil higher when compared with
ground without application of organic fertilizer up to the age of 6 BST
4. Application of organic fertilizer up to 50 Ton. has soil pH higher when compared with ground
without application of organic fertilizer up to the age of 6 BST
5. The results of the analysis of plant growth show that the application of 50 tons / ha of
organic fertilizer is better than the application of 20 tons / ha of organic fertilizer and control
6. Application of 50 tons / ha of organic fertilizer produces large fruit on average as much as
61%, more than the application of organic fertilizer 20 tons / ha and control
7. Application of organic fertilizers improves the Soil parameters (C-organic, P, K, Ca, Mg, etc)
but after harvesting soil parameter has decreased and the same with control

H. Work Procedural Standard to Land Preparation of Banana

Rotation of plants from bananas to pineapples and pineapple to banana has different land
preparation and tillage processes. Banana plants do not require intensive tillage like pineapple
plants but want a pH close to neutral, pineapples pH standard has a range of 4,8 to 5.

D. Mapping Area 066B Catchment 22

Aerial Photo location 066B take on 9 November 2018 for plan observations of flow
direction, inundation and sedimentation in location. Before location 066B was carried out
validation using the Catchment Area 22 lay out to find out the water velocity potential with the
water flow layout, the potential for inundation by laying out water logging and flow direction
with the lay out water direction at location 066B.
The initial validation at location 066B resulted in the determination of the sedimentation
observation point, for the sedimentation observation area of half the location 066B which was 5.45
Ha. The total sedimentation observation points amounted to 10 points and observations were
made after the rain. Observations in November were conducted on the dates of 8, 12 ,23 and 30
November 2018.
Research & Development DepartmentWeekly Report

Update mapping area is done because of the shape of the vegetation or plants that
change, the current status of the location is finished planting with large sucker seeds. The 066B
location area mapping uses DJI Phantom 3 and uses virtual GCP. The following results are location
066B :

1. Mapping Area Location 066B in 2017 2.Mapping Area Location 066B in 2018

Update location map mapping 066B provides information on flow direction density, this is
shown in the image taken in 2018 and as a comparison of images taken 2017. The use of virtual
GCP data is the value of coordinates taken from CA 22 raster data that has previously been
measured with Geodetic GPS, which is used for processing the 066B update area does not differ
much and there is no difference or previous coordinate raster shift and aerial photo processing
with Pix4D.
The use of virtual GCP can be used when finding an object that has not changed or
shifted, for example a culvert building, security office or offices and other buildings. The update
data has been re-validated and the results are currently in accordance with the conditions in the
field and to better ensure that it is necessary to observe after rain with a large discharge.

E. Mapping Area 066B Catchment 22

The observation of WWTP location planning activities at location 017D Catchment Area 23
PG1 was carried out on November 14-15 2018. The first observation was carried out by looking at
the culvert connection between River 072D to River 071D and the second day of observation
conducted by searching directly to location 071D by using the CA 23 aerial photo map that was
flown in August 2017.
Research & Development DepartmentWeekly Report

Identification using the Water Direction CA 23 lay out to see the direction of flow at
location 071D, the results of the investigation showed that the potential for flooding at the
location of 071D was seen as a dwarf plant. The search is continued by looking at the channel
form from the culvert to the toll road, searching directly to the location and using the DJI
Phantom 3.
Details of tracking observations of IPAL location plan for 017D CA 23.
