Research on ‘Folktales’. What is a Folktale? (do the research work on an A4 sheet).

Story starter: You discover a magic button that will...write a story within 300 words to be presented
ENGLISH
later in the class.
Presentation will be assessed on creativity, content and presentation style.
 Read chapter 10
 Research the effect of acid rain on the environment.
SCIENCE  Make a model volcano.
Instruction-
Do research work on an A4 sheet.
Find out at least 5 interesting number sequences. Write them on an A4 size sheet.
Watch videos on rotations and probabilty.
MATHEMATICS Example- Why probability lies between 0 and 1?
Rotation around the origin. Either download the video and bring it in a pen drive or send the link on

Prepare either a presentation or a chart on the given topic:
 Early and Vedic Period- Mankaran, Fahham and Tarush
 Jainism and Buddhism- Anika, Shonalya and Kimaya
 The Indian Ocean Tsunami- Ria, Shivangini and Rin
SOCIAL SCIENCE Instructions:
 Read the Chapter from your textbook before preparing the chart or presentation.
 Presentation will be assessed on Creativity, Content and Presentation skills
 Do not copy paste from any website or textbook.
 Maximum number of slides in a presentation is 10.
Students have to make a scrap book and paste at least five pictures of each on the following topics:
i. Things found in your schoolbag
FRENCH
ii. Things found in a classroom
Label them in French.
Read any short story book in English and create a personal “Pictobook (Small Picture Dictionary)” with
vocabulary translated from English to Spanish.
SPANISH
 The Pictobook should have a catchy name.
 Pictures of each vocabulary should be pasted in the book.
 Read lesson -6 ‘Samay par na milne wale’ (by Harishankar Parsai) and write ‘saransh’ of the same
(100-120 words)
HINDI
Collect information about the author ‘Harishankar Parsai’ and make a project

1. Make a beautiful presentation on “My Class”.

2. The presentation should have slides on class teacher, class location in the school premises,
subjects taught and subject teachers’ details, class strength and children’s details etc.
3. The subject teacher’s names should have a hyperlink to a MS-Word file. The Word file should
ICT contain some points on the subject teachers.
4. It should be animated.
5. Save the changes .
