Course: Language Arts 6

This course will focus on studying forms of literature so that students will gain writing
skills from different types of mentor texts. These texts will include both classical and young
adult literature. Students will participate in individual writing and reading every day, quizzes,
tests, group work, and oral presentations. Throughout this course we will be exploring many
different topics and we will be going at a moderate pace to make sure that all of the skills are
really absorbed. I want my students to have a say in what they want to learn and what they
need to work on still so student feedback is something that I really look for.
