Description: Based on the issue of


“Gender Equality”, the painting
depicts the emotions of a
teenage girl who now started
sensing the differentiation in the
society. The vibrant colours of the
painting show her dreams
whereas the stillness of her
posture and the suggestion of the
barrier is the hurdle she is
sensing. Her firm gaze makes her
determinant and prudent.

Description: This painting


expresses the maturity and
pressure of parents or society
in an early age which makes a
child to behave like an adult.
He has vision to come outside
that cage world that may not
be possible because of the
family pressure or his thoughts
or several other reasons. He is
just trapped in this world not
being able to live his childhood.

shows the issues
happening against women
in our society. Female
infanticide, rape,
exploitation are the various
issues which are of serious
concern. The constant fear
permeable among us does
not let them live their life
to the extent. We need to
stop this collectively.

Description: This painting is


addressing plastic pollution
which is the very serious
concern in the world. The
bunch of vibrant flowers that
is emanating from the
human’s navel, is the last
part of flora remaining, the
rest is covered by the plastic.
The painting shows the
future of the present world if
the production of more
plastic does not stop. We
must campaign to recycle it.
Participating Artists

Aditi Purwar

One of the participating artists, she belongs to Prayagraj, U.P. She is pursuing Bachelors
of Fine Arts, Painting from College of Art, Delhi. She had been Assistant Prof. in the field
of Electronics Engineering in KIIT, Bhubaneswar. Later on, she switched her career to
the field of fine arts for a greater cause.

Rohit Gupta

Several times winner of the National level painting competitions, Rohit is also
pursuing his career in BFA, painting from College of Art, Delhi. He belongs to Delhi
only.

Sumit Kumar

Sumit belongs to Bulandshahr district, U.P. Being the district level winner of the painting
competitions, enthusiastic and expressive through his artworks, he is doing BFA, painting
from College of Art, Delhi.

Sanjana Mathani

Participant of many art competitions at the national as well as international level, Sanjana
is also pursuing BFA from College of Art, Delhi. Being eloquent through her paintings,
learning and practicing new techniques, She belongs to Delhi, only.

Sonu Kumar

Participating artist in several state level competitions, Sonu belongs to Karnal, Haryana.
With his exceptional artistic sense, he is pursuing BFA, Painting from College of Art,
Delhi.
