Free, March Events to Enjoy at Ocean's Family Success Center

A non-profit serving the greater Asbury Park community

Asbury Park, N.J.- Oceans Family Success Center (Oceans FSC) of the greater Asbury Park area
has several new March programs available for the community including Eat Healthier while
Saving Money, Foundations in Personal Finance, and Living your Best Life. Oceans FSC events
are always free and open to the public. The following events, new for March, will be held at
Oceans FSC, 1201 Springwood Ave. Unit 105, Asbury Park.

Eat Healthier while Saving Money is a workshop on how to best spend time and money when
shopping for groceries. This free event lead by NJ SNAP-Ed will be held on Wednesday March 6
at 4:00 pm.

Community members have an opportunity to learn new tips on managing money by attending
Foundations in Personal Finance program. This 5-week program based on the Dave Ramsey
curriculum is available Wednesdays at 5:30pm, March 14, 21 & 28 and April 4 & 11.

Lastly, Raising a Strong & Healthy Child is an engaging, interactive and empowering
presentation for parents and those expecting. The event, led by RWJ Barnabas Health, will be on
Tuesday March 19 at 5:00 pm.

OFSC offers weekly events including Craft Corner at 4 pm Mondays, Tuesday’s Chess Club at 5
pm and Moms Group at 5 pm, Wednesday Boys to Young Men at 4:30 pm followed by Fathers
Matter at 5 pm.

The second Wednesday of each month, stop by Oceans Family Success Center for a free,
confidential HIV test with the VNA/Prevention Resource’s mobile HIV testing van.

Foundations of Personal Finance, Raising a Strong & Healthy Child and Health & Nutrition
Awareness. Oceans FSC events are always free and open to the public. The following events,
new for March, will be held at Oceans FSC, 1201 Springwood Ave. Unit 105, Asbury Park.
Resume Rescue is a workshop to improve an existing resume or create a new resume. This
workshop will be hosted on Thursdays April 4, 11 & 18 at 4:00pm.
