Radio Park Elementary School
Chosen to participate in the Penn State University Elementary Education collaborative 185 day, full time student teaching
internship in the State College Area School District (Pennsylvania). This 21-year partnership is nationally recognized,
receiving the Exemplary Professional Development School Achievement Award from the National Association for
Professional Development Schools (NAPDS) in 2018. The program has also received the 2011 Spirit of Partnership Award,
the 2009 Exemplary Partnership Award (NAPDS), the 2004 Holmes Partnership Award for the best partnership between a
university and a school district, and the 2002 Distinguished Program in Teacher Education Award from the Association of
Teacher Educators (ATE).

● Plan and instruct all content areas in a kindergarten classroom of 24 students daily while
assisting a third grade classroom of 22 students weekly
